What happen to Download Keys if I update my game?

Hey, as per the title, I want to update my game, however I have distribute  keys to tons of people (more than 20) and most of them haven't claim it yet. Since I'm still new to game development, what I'm gonna do for an update is to upload an entire file of the game replacing the old one, but still the same game and will be uploading to the same game's page/link. Although, I wonder if it will messed up the Download Keys I have shared? My game is available for purchase, to my understanding, it will go through an internal review before it comes live. Should I wait until everyone claim the keys or there will be no problem at all? What about the analytics information, will it be reset?

TL;DR

  1. Will the Download Keys messed up if I replace the file entirely by uploading new updated version of the same game?
  2. Will the analytic info be reset?

Download keys are per-project, not per-file, and give access to everything, just like when people buy the game. So no. :)

That's a relief, good to know that!
I have few other related questions, if I update my game, how will the interface looks like for those who have purchased the game?
Will it simply shows "update" (or similar)?
Last, if I upload Mac and Linux version, does the people who purchase Windows version have access or will they have to buy another version separately?

People who buy a game get access to all files uploaded to the project page, in perpetuity. But no, when you update a file that shows in the feeds of people who follow you, not on the game page.

Thank you so much for the reply, that clears everything!
