My game is already translated from Chinese to English by a freelancer (she is a native English speaker, but maybe she stayed in China for too long). However, my friend in Canada told me the translated text is correct but not natural. I also noted that the page viewers in US are few (maybe they are scared away by the first sentence). So I am looking for a native English speaker to improve the text in Steam store page(https://store.steampowered.com/app/1511310/Destroy_the_Demon_Army__Modified/?l=en). The text in game might need to be improved later.

It's just 70 words so I think 5 USD would be enough.

My email address is snowyyang(a)outlook.com . You can also reply this topic.

Strange, another person in US said the text is already perfect. May be English in Canada and US is different.

Canada's english is more of a British-English (except Quebec which is more French) and US English is a bit all-over the place. Can't really go wrong with the sentence structure as english can be AMAZINGLY flexible.

Just poking my head in, saying hi.

Hey, sorry about the spat I caused in your thread. I did not mean for that to happen.

Have a good rest of your day and good luck with your game!

I don't see any major problems with it.  The main thing that might be a little clumsy is this:

The game's idle speed is adjustable. Most players can finish within several minutes, and there is also a speedrun leaderboard.

This doesn't really flow as a paragraph, and I don't think it needs to be in the blurb at the top, either.  It might be better as a list of features, like this:

  • Adjustable idle speed
  • Fast-paced rounds - only a few minutes
  • Leaderboard for speedrunners

Just a thought.  The only other thing that bothers me a little is using the word "army" twice in the second sentence.  Maybe change it to "Recruit and upgrade your troops"?

thanks
