Rating Bomb! (Need Help)

Hello

Today my game got nine different ratings that all done within an hour and all 1 star rated.  It's probably a butthurt developer because the game doing very well.

Is there anything I can do about this? I know that I can report them but I am not sure how long does it take to get action from the admins. I'm worried that this 2.6 average rating may lose player's interest. And this game is just a demo that has more than 2000 downloads.  I really don't want that to ruin what my effort has done till now.

I'm not a native English speaker so I'm sorry if I made the mistake.

Edit: I just realized now he'she also made the same rating bomb for my old game too

It sounds like your game is very successful already. Besides, most people apparently never look in the More Information box. Review bombing shouldn't impact your game ranking much, either. Even if it did, admins will get to it sooner or later. But only if you report the suspicious ratings, otherwise they have no way to know.

Ty for the answer!

I have reported them and disabled the rating option for a while. I hope admins look at my case as soon as possible.

By the way, should I contact support? In one of the topic, I saw leafo cleaned all fake reviews

That might be an idea too, if nothing seems to happen after a while.

I just don't feel they will look at my reports about this. I have contacted about a thing a year ago and still no response from them. That why I am here on the forum just in case if one of the admin see this and take an action.  I also have provided that all of them are outright fake. I also don't care if players care or not about more information section because 1 download lose is sill 1 download lose just because a troll spent time for this sh*t to happen!

The same problem of someone has solved in the forums with a Screenshot. Why do I have to wait to see if nothing seems to happen after a while?

Because sometimes admins can miss reports for various reasons, and it might be worth reminding them. But if you don't communicate, there's nothing for them to act on. Speaking of which: I've let our admins know. Hope this gets resolved soon!
