Entire games meaning what? Rules, too? And sprites? In principle it can be done, PCG techniques exist for each part of a game, not just maps. But it's a lot of work, and then you'll have to put them together as well. Good luck!

Well, we'd all be out of business then ;)

It can be done, but I wonder what kind of games you get out from that. What makes and breaks the game are mostly the personal touches of the developers. Knowing how to time a joke in a game, coming up with nice Easter Eggs. Having some evil thoughts about traps in the game. Knowing how to bring in obvious secrets you still easily miss. Nice story line. And so on... A computer cannot bring on such personal touches.

So I don't think we'll all be out of business. Actually the same discussion has also been made about generating music or even generating novels. I've actually heard music from a music generator. In fact in my Star Story game there is one track (the one in the illegal bar on the lost planet) that came from a music generator. The track was only "just good enough" to do what I needed it for, but for serious use on a music album, nah! All other tracks are from human composers for a reason. Games are much in the same position if you ask me.
