Your image seems to have a different aspect ratio that the expected image. Your image has the size of 630x406, while the recommended size for a project’s cover is 630x500.

You would need to resize your image to the Itch’s expected aspect ratio. Hope that helps. You can see the recommended sizes on the screen where you can upload a new cover image.
