how does the rating work and how can i reach top rated??

So i fully released my second game on itch.io last two days ago and i got 9 Positive ratings and the last game that i made the called the wine man got some ratings aswell it reach top rated. But my recent release got more ratings than my previous one and i still haven't seen it on top rated so how can i reach top rated or my game be feutured on itch

dont worry im just asking im quite confuse thats all

Ratings are only a small part of how a game is ranked. The system is complex and hidden, to stop people from cheating. Even on the Top Rated page, notice how games aren't ranked by the number of ratings, even on the first page where all have five stars. All you can do is make a good game, with an attractive page, and get people to notice it. That means good tags and such, talking to others, and more. Hope this helps.
