That's awesome to hear! Please feel free to post a link here in the comments, we'd love to see your playthrough!

Very nice, thanks for playing!

Hahaha, a broken keyboard is half the fun! Glad to hear you had a good time, your video was a ton of fun!

Thank you so much for your input, I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it!

Wonderful! Thank you so much for playing our game!

Hello everybody! I'm an experienced composer looking to join a team, this will be my fifth jam (though I've been writing music for years and years). I can work in a number of styles, but I tend to avoid chiptune and the like in favor of giving each game I work on a distinct sonic identity. You can hear samples of my work at https://www.zacharypinkham.com. Timezone is EST. My discord is mysticalchocobo#6017

I'm happy to work on any kind of game, but I'm especially interested in emergent or narrative-driven experiences!

Edit: I found a team, but I'll leave the post up in case anyone's interested in hearing my work and might want to team up in a future jam!

Nice concept and some cool level designs! My one problem is that sometimes my movement from a failed attempt carried over to the next, causing me to die immediately on the respawn, but the respawns happen so quickly and all I had to do was stop touching stuff so it really wasn't a big deal. Nice work!

Hey everyone! Myself and a buddy of mine are a composer/sound designer duo looking for a team to join for the first Stareye Atlas game jam! Between us we have a bunch of game jam experience and some experience implementing with Wwise, you can hear our work at https://www.zacharypinkham.com/ and https://saadmemon.com/. If you like what you hear, please reach out to me, we'd love to make something with you! (Note, our time zone is EST)

You can also find me on Discord, I'm mysticalchocobo#6017.

Cool visuals, nice music, and good core mechanic! I had a really nice time with it, great work!

Favorite game of the jam for me! Love the visuals, controls felt nice, good job on the music/sfx, and the whole package was just really lovely, excellent work!

Like others have said, it takes a minute to get used to the physics, but they feel really nice once you get the hang of it! Loved the environmental art, nice job on the music too!

Aside from the bug that hinders progress, what's there looks and sounds lovely and it's a solid concept!...and I'm not just saying that because my game was...similar ;)

Adorable and slightly horrifying, the visuals are absolutely lovely and it's wonderfully charming, great work!

Very cool concept! I had some struggles getting linking mechanic to respond, but otherwise I had a good time with it, happy to have had the chance to play your work!

Glad to hear you liked the music!

Yeah, our programmer and artist designed some wonderful systems for the game we didn't quite have the time to implement, but I'm happy that you still enjoyed the customization!

Very cool little game! It's a great concept and it feels like a really sturdy foundation that could be iterated on and built up, but even as it stands I had a good time playing it. The audio worked well, the art was exactly right for the style, and I especially like the context clues the design of the costumes were giving me to help complete purchases. Lovely work!

This is really wonderful, the puzzles were great and it had excellent game feel. I love the way you utilized the theme, it's impressive that you put together something so complete in such a small amount of time!

Nice work! The transformation mechanic was solid and effective, and I like everyone else I love the cute art. The music was great too! If I have one recommendation, I think I would have just let the music run straight through each level instead of having it start over every time you started a new one, as soon as I started vibing it would restart again. But honestly, if that's my only nit-pick, then clearly you did something right!

Glad to hear you liked it! Jordan did a wonderful job on the art and Chance did excellent work that got smashed by our VCS, but we're gonna fix it post-jam and you'll get a chance to admire his work too.

Thank you so much, happy to hear you enjoyed it (and I'm especially happy to hear you enjoyed my music)! Yeah, like our fabulous programmer Chance said below, we were screwed by our VCS. He and our wonderful artist Jordan accomplished a minor miracle pulling it together into a playable state by the deadline. Please do keep your eyes out, we're planning on fixing it up post-jam!

VERY cool game! The puzzle mechanic was awesome, well utilized, and the presentation was spot on. It felt like a complete idea that was fully fleshed out, and the whole thing had a lot of polish to it. Great game!

Hey! Sure, that sounds great! I’m sure we can manage if we can’t find a programmer or a graphic designer.

Also, yes, I sure can! All but the final track on my website were entirely produced by myself, and I have more resources at my disposal than I’ve used in my portfolio.

Want to take this over to Discord?

Hey everyone! I'm a composer looking for a team to join. This will be my first jam, but I've been writing music for years. You can hear some samples of my work here: https://www.zacharypinkham.com/

If you enjoy my work and have any interest in working together, feel free to reach out to me either here or through the contact form on my website!

Haha I'd love to, but I'm a composer with basically no programming knowledge, whoops.

Out of curiosity, if I'm new to jams and I'm having trouble finding a team to join, is there any recourse? Or would I just have to sit it out?
