Thank you!

Thank you!!!

This was really fun to watch, thanks for sharing this!

The map closing in was a cool effect! Some power-ups spawned randomly in the map would be a fun addition - or maybe the different colors you pick could give you some unique ability.

Fun game, was a nice moment when you get to unlock the rocket launcher. I think some more expensive upgrades to slowly work towards would be a nice addition for an idle game - maybe the asteroids could have health values and you can incrementally upgrade your damage per shot or something.

Enjoyed this game a lot, I especially liked the atmosphere. I think having some sort of obstacles/enemies hidden in the darkness would make the journey much more varied and intense when rescuing the Pentanoids.

Fun game! My highscore was 36. I think it would be neat to see a preview of what the next colour is to add a little more strategy.

I enjoyed this game a lot! It felt very polished and intuitive. Really impressive, especially for your first jam game.

Thanks for giving it a go! It is unfortunate that the web build doesn't run well, we mostly included it as a lot of people might not download it otherwise. Looking back we probably should've started the game with more basic movement onboarding before jumping straight into platforming.

Really chill game, loved the visuals and music. Had a few times where I was close to losing before everything started chain-reacting. Ended up with a score of 8627! I think an option where you can drop a single piece would be nice, I had a few times where I would accidentally drop too many.

Really fun game! I loved how creative the random challenges/modifiers were and the adaptive music is a neat touch. I think an endless mode that is score based would be a cool addition, could definitely imagine myself replaying that a lot.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions, I'll look into fixing them soon & I'll reply when it's updated! 😎

So far the next update has added a stamina bar. This slowly ticks down while the GIFotchi is awake, and goes down more whenever you play with them. This fixes getting overworked from having too much fun, instead happening when you have no stamina. It also gives another purpose to sleeping as this is how it's replenished.

Another addition is being able to toggle the window to a borderless transparent window.

Going further into the future, I want to add more long-term progression outside of just levelling up.

A Released a 90s/early 2000s shareware inspired virtual-pet game, play here!

I don’t have much experience in using Wine so I’m not sure why this is happening. From a quick search it looks like it may be an issue with Unity games in general, some forum posts suggest using GameScope, or setting a virtual desktop resolution in the wine settings. Sorry I can’t be more help!

(1 edit)

Thanks, glad you enjoyed it! I'll have to give that a go. Also I think you might’ve missed the pop-up explaining that you can change your speed with the scroll-wheel, my bad!

Thank you! It can be tricky at the start before you have any good gear, it's best to stick to jobs that don't involve combat until you have some better weapons and a shield. You can also change the difficulty in the settings menu if that helps.

Thanks for the review, I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I've put out a quick patch that addresses a few of the bugs and suggestions you've made, as well as adding a few new things: release notes

I do hope to expand on the long-term progression in a bigger update at some point in the future.

https://wookbee.itch.io/interstellar-dominion

Thanks!

Interstellar Dominion is an open world game set in space. Two factions are at war, the Vanguard, and the Empyrean. The actions you take will determine what faction you belong to. As if this wasn't enough of a mess pirates are out looking to turn any ship they see into scrap to sell

Who you work for, who you attack, and who you help is tracked and represented with a faction level. Show loyalty to a faction and your level will increase, this leads to better contract payments, and their ships will be willing to join your squad and help in combat. Work against your faction and your level will decrease.

Lo siento, actualmente no hay planes para ofrecer soporte en otros idiomas adicionales.

Thank you!

Thanks! :D

Sorry to hear it's crashing. I've just released a new version (0.0.34) with a fair few changes and optimisations, hopefully it'll work now.

If it still crashes could you let me know what tablet you're using? Thanks.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Thanks for trying it, I'm glad you liked it! I haven't used photon before but I've read good things about it, I'll look into it sometime.

Thanks, I'm working on an in-game server browser, so hopefully that'll make it easier to find games in the future.

Thank you!

Really well done, definitely deserves more recognition. I only found one bug, if you keep spamming F or C and keep firing, eventually the gun will get stuck on one axis and you won't be able to fire anymore. I'm looking forward to seeing this project develop!

Currently you need to just download the latest version again from Itch, however if you're using the itch.io app it should update automatically. https://itch.io/app

Great! Looking forward to trying it.

Thanks!

Playing with friends over different networks requires the host to port forward (https://www.hellotech.com/guide/for/how-to-port-forward) and open port 7777, much like Minecraft if you've tried that. Then your friend can join using your public IP (https://www.showmyipaddress.eu/).

Thank you!

I was using UNET but I'm in the process of moving over to Mirror.
