And I absoultely agree, it is frustrating. We never really had a plan for level progression in mind :P So happy you liked the game though, cheers!

Yes! I think you really hit the nail on the head for our ambition with this project. We crammed as much of as we could but I would love to add all the details you described and more :D Thank you!

Wow, high praise, thank you! Your criticism is well founded and the mechanic was very much an effect of having very little time to develop the game. I agree that this system would have to be reevaluated if we were ever to release this project as a full game. Thank you for the feedback :)

Yeah, juiciness was really important for this one. Happy you liked it!

Thank you so much! I actually tried tweaking the mechanic of the sword throw to have no spin during the game jam but we decided against it since we felt that a higher level of challenge would be more interesting given the short amount of time we had to finish the game.

That's great, thank you! Whoagie does good work indeed, if I do say so myself :)

Awesome, thanks! The volume change+sword health was really a spur of the moment idea but it just fit so well. Glad you liked it!

Thank you! Yeah, it's great to see different outcomes for similar ideas.

Both presentation and mechanic were really well done. Nice game!

Style is very stylish, excellent!

Great style! Would like some in-game instructions/tutorial of the concept though.

Loved the theme! Would've been great if it was clearer what the setup was. Well done!

For me this really captures the essence of the theme, well done!

Interesting concept for sure. Input/interactivity was a bit clunky but really liked the idea!

We had a similar idea but a different take on it. Liked the creativity of yours!

Awesome, glad you like it!

Hehe, yeah difficulty and balancing wasn't in the budget.

That aspect was important to us, thank you for pinpointing it!

Thank you for the kind words! I love the juiciness aspect of game design. :)

And to add to Whoagies reply, we wanted to really stay focused on the theme with roles reversed such that you being a sword means that you cannot move. However, I do think having some mechanic to influence your surroundings when host-less would've been nice. And also yes, more enemy types for sure. :)

Great concept, really like it. Quick and easy to grasp.

Really like the simple setup and execution, it works wonders. Same criticism as others, the time stop mechanic isn't well presented. It works well, though.

Excellent presentation and quite fun mechanic. A little tedious manually moving the cursor between robots but all in all an interesting concept.

Thanks, appreciate it! So much more we wanted to do ofc. :)

Love the presentation of this one! Kinda don't wanna play it in fullscreen since it goes so well onto the itch page.
