Really impressive that you made your own engine! The strategy seemed to be to just put the goblins a few rooms away and put bombs in the hero's way. I'm sure that with more time to add variation and maybe abilities to the hero this could be a great strategy game.

Thanks a lot for playing and commenting!

Honestly the combat is one of the things I am least happy with. The robots aren't exactly seeking to deal damage, they are mostly just an obstacle that you have to be cautious around. I wish I had time to create different enemy kinds, and implement them better into the level design. Also there aren't enough levels to really use the combat or even the different routes to their full potential.

I kinda like the idea of a game where the important things don't stand out and they are really part of the environment, but I agree that in such a short game I can't just throw that in there and it would be better to clearly define the important things.

Thank you for liking the tileset, I definitely devoted the most enthusiasm into that. Good luck with your game!

Thank you for the advice! I was thinking I wouldn't have time to implement a settings screen, so I just went with a set resolution that I thought wasn't going to be too big, but I guess it can still be a problem on some screens.

Thanks for playing.

I really like this game! The art style reminds me of crayon drawings, I can see you put a lot of effort into it. I like the variation of the cultists' different abilities, though I must admit that the normal green one is easiest to control. Also it seems a little unnecessary to use the mouse for just one element in gameplay, it could be a button and then the controls would be easier for those who default to playing with arrow keys.

Very nice, my favourite part is the art style. Good luck!

Thank you for playing and for the feedback!

Yes, unfortunately I was rushing to finish what I had in mind and it bugs me that I had no time left to make some simple sound effects. I'll try to manage my time better next time!
