Your too kind~

Hope you had fun.

We had absolute ass trying to coordinate our schedules so we where happy the game got shipped at all, tho its been said a milion times and I am not denying that debris is an issiue.

Now the topdown view you mentioned is an interesting point of view because everyone else seems to gravitate to the white bread that is a free look third person camera. Its not exactly aligned with our creative vision but its an interesting line of thought.

Thank you for playing!

YOU CAUGHT THE REFERENCE.

1000 points to grifindoor.

The game literally uses only three butons and there is a fixed rotation increment when turning with A and D. I supose the information isnt really told the player in a digestible format but aside from that I dont nessesarily see the issiue.
We are glad you had fun tho!

How dare you insuline our game you fable rascal!

The debris is an issiue thats sorta half fixed, you can see in the second level that the tables have this fixed.

I dont like the timeslow at all and there are no checkpoints.

That being said this felt really good when I sprinted and b-hopped the entire time cycling melee and shotgun to keep on edge. I enjoyed it.

I dont give a damn bout no wife. I am a multi milionare

This wasnt fun at all and I still dont really understand what the game wanted from me.

753 megabytes is a crime of a gamejam submission. I want to play it but its extremely uncomfortable.

We had the same exact idea during our brainstorming for the gamejam so its extremely satistfying seeing someone actually made it. The indecency mechanic is extremely punishing and I cannot really make it past day 4.

Make the player character turn like a hundred times faster tho, PLEASE I do not care for the movement. And the placement should just be on the mouse because that was agony. A solid 6/10 game. Id play again

I clipped into the ground

10/10 from me honestly, it's near nad dear to my heart as I too am I primate.

Considering that the game was originally intended to be played in first person but later we've had an internal dispute. There where experiments with a mobile camera but it turned out to be rather nauseating.
Thank you kindly for your review!

Over all its a really nice game. But I did NOT care for the color wheel and the spinning thingy. The other two where nice gimmicks.

I had a good time, wont play again but its a really cool game for your first gamejam!

The game itself is a confusing mess. Im trying to like it but...

  1. It feels unfair. I dont care if it really isnt but half the time I die without really knowing why.
  2. I never really had the time to read the controls because of how fast it throws you into the gameplay.
  3. There is no respawn as far as Im concerned. It is extremely bothersome to load the game up a fifth time just because I died.
  4. The game art is nothing like the images show. I am not 100% certain about this but the build I downloaded had capsules and stuff.

I do like the combat a fair ammount tho so its not a total throwaway. The lighthouse itself is extremely annoying.

Thank you for your feedback! Although the movements slippery nature wasnt considered an issiue for a while, hearing the overwhelming negative feedback to it opened our minds to diffrent implementation. We value each piece of feedback we can get!

Thanks, we are glad you enjoyed it!

Peak of gaming

Thank you for your feedback! Although I understand in what direction your recomending we take our game, most feedback we have gotten so far was from people who where lost and didnt like that whole aspect of the game, in my personal oppinion the best course for this game is to further lean into structure of the levels making more sence and keeping the maze aspect as rather the part that ties it togather.

Dude this is my favourite game from the entire gamejam, the combat feels inconsistent but who the hell cares. THIS GAME HAS GAMBLING AND STOCK EXCHANGE, THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE IT BETTER IS TO ADD DRUGS

Yo I really liked your game, the only thing id really change is how the damage is handled and the dead end issiue. Damage feels inconsistent and unfair and whats worse in my oppinion is how I ran into a dead end and died lmao 9/10 fun arcade

I wanted to enjoy the game because I really like it but the controls just kinda, suck. I tried to click on things but it whouldnt work.

I like the game and Id love to replay it once its fixed. Also like BRO these are GAME BREAKING BUGS you can fix them within 48hours after the submission period is over.

Plus saddly the browser version didnt work for me either, I ran the windows build

Nooooooo the game isnt acessibel ): ): ):

I guess ill just leave a 10/10 and go away

I like the idea and somewhat the implementation its just that, instructions unclear and bro spent more time on the tree dancing then chasing me. I HATE the tower because I died to him like thrice there, its kinda repetitive tbh. Also I found out that movement isnt normalized so I just ran diagonally for that  sqrt(movementSpeed² + movementSpeed²) extra which is about 1.4 times as much as regular forward.

Other then that, I loved it. 10/10

I really like the game, to be honest it kept me playing with its fibe alone. I enjoy the retro dark fantasy aestetic youve chosen for the ui and the models where neat.

What I didnt like is how you locked the rotation in the basement and made me turn using Q and E, at some point either have your whole game consistently mouse based or Q and E rotation. Also the waves felt unsatistfying, I liked the beam but the enemies sorta didnt feel great. The skellies sure but the bat imp things where annoying as hell.

Saddly I didnt finish your game yet because after two attempts and trying to like the mechanics it wasnt very pleasing. The colliders for interaction felt inconsistent  as well and the beam shot offset from the cursor which isnt usual in these games so it threw me off guard.

Love your game 9/10, I hope you fix it post gamejam

Oh yeah, forgot to mention. I thnk it whould be really nice if instead of the dungeon you could explore the outside of the church and see it from a diffrent perspective.

Thank you so much!

Thank you for your feedback! We have been thinking about changing and differentiating the enemies in our project since their inception. But sadly the time was limited a bit too much for us to have time to further improve these systems.

Please check out our game post gsmejam, from Dwarven with love.

Thank you for your feedback! Your the first one to point out the shader work behind the game and we appreciate you noticing. Infact the way dropped weapons hover is handled via shader as well.

Thank you for your feedback! Where happy that you liked it.

Thank you for your feedback! We are aware of both issiues from the countless other comments we have gotten about the game. At the current state we cannot fix it but we plan to do it post gamejam.

Thank you so much for doing so! We apprechiate every user we can get.

Thank you for your feedback! We are happy that you had fun playing our little game and we value you as a customer.

Although pushing your games popularity this way goes against what we stand for, never the less we might give your game a try.

Thank you for your feedback! We at Dwarven studios tried our very best to make a game worth playing. There is no better feeling for us then when someone apprechiates our work.

From Dwarven with love.

We hope so as it would mean the world to us.

Thank you for your feedback! We at the team are very happy to hear that you enjoyed the experience. The enemy hit distance is a known bug that we simply didn't have the time to repair because it's an issue on several layers.

Best regards, Dwarven studios.

Thank you!

Thank you for your feedback! I gotta say, this is probably the most interesting feedback we've gotten so far. The idea of forcing the player to fight instead of running has been on the table for a while now, we simply didn't have time to look deeper into it.

And about the health, I don't think it needs to go lower then it already is but if we find it as such in play testing we will reduce it.

Most people had negative comments about the combat system so we don't think we will.

Hope you had fun with our little game, best of regards, Dwarven studios.

Thank you for your feedback! The bow was specifically made slower because its range is unlimited unlike the other weapons that force you to tank damage. Best regards, Dwarven studios.

Thank you for your feedback! We at our team strive to make the best combat we can, sadly time constraints and lacking tech where enough to make that are a bit more difficult.

Might I suggest tanking to the damage or using a higher range weapon like the glaive or sword?
