Really fun! Really the only annoying things are the projectiles and the small attack area, but a creative concept!

This is a really interesting concept! I kind of defaulted to putting all my highest rolls into defence, so maybe some downside to that could make it less of a safe choice?

I could definitely see my self sinking a ton of time in this if it had a little more variety in gameplay!

Technical issues aside, I think the end result is really cool!

This is super cool! It's a little too challenging, but once you get into it it's really fun to aim and hope the rolling physics work in your favor.

I feel like if there was more open space to make decisions within the maze (even just expanding the width of each passage from 1 to 2), the randomness would add a lot of strategic interest.

Vibes, and also banjo music started blasting and I thought it was really funny.

Great job for your first jam! I think it feels a little unfair to move a random distance without knowing the results of the roll before hand.

This was fantastic! I love how deliberate you have to be in how you move, and any actual chance for failure comes from the player making mistakes. It's also very visually clean and appealing.

The visuals and audio support the gameplay perfectly! I think there should be some way for the player to figure out what each of the rolled effects does, or have very obvious effects (bullet-time & flamethrower were great at this).

I enjoyed the basics of movement, it felt responsive to move around bullets and kite enemies. I think the effects of each die should be communicated before you select them.

Great art style! Gameplay-wise, there are some really cool ideas at work, but some puzzle pieces aren't explained super well.

I don't know if the version I downloaded was an earlier version or something, but my character was a white egg rather than the death/plague doctor character. I really like the visual style of this game, and the gameplay is fun if a little drawn out (I think losing when you lose 1 lamp would be fun). My one real issue is the lack of tutorial or explanation in game.

A really novel concept. I definitely think it could have used a tutorial of some kind, and I feel like the combat wasn't very necessary, as I was able to get through most of them by just assigning stats randomly.

I really like the art style. I feel like there is a lot of potential in the gameplay, although I think it could be made a bit clearer when you take damage.

I liked all of the minigames, although some it was unclear what the controls were. Limiting it to just wasd or the arrow keys would probably help.

Not really sure what the goal of the game is.

An interesting idea, and the art style and music are really nice. I think just having the music looping rather than restarting when you die could be an interesting idea, and panning out the camera to a wider view in the platformer sections would be appreciated.

Very cool music and visuals, and great animation on the spider! I'm really bad at both rhythm games and bullet hells so its hard for me to judge but it feels a little unfair at times. It also wasn't super clear what "dodge to reset the cooldown" meant.

Hi! This is Teddy, the games artist and animator. It is a 2 player board game, similar to chess. When the camera rotates around the board, it indicates that it is the other players turn. Watch the included tutorial video for more in depth instructions. The video doesn't work in the web GL version, so I recommend either downloading the game or watching the YouTube upload of the tutorial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7V0TKU1WJwU
