100% Agree!

This is some great advice that unfortunatelly will be ignored exactly by the people who usually do it.

It's really hard to make something interesting that takes some degree of gameplay development when many people just play for 30 seconds and rate.

Good luck!!

I really dig the art style!

I unfortunatelly got very unlucky in my run, but the concept is very interesting and fitting to the theme!

A little puzzle platformer just for you! https://itch.io/jam/jamsepticeye/rate/3935375

Thanks!

So glad you enjoyed this one so much! Thanks a lot!

Great execution on the concept! The slime sounds are very cute and the puzzle are fun aswell. Nicely done!

Thanks a lot!

Thank you so much!! It means a lot that you liked it enough to want to see a full version!

Short and to the point!

The artstyle somehow reminded me of playing PC Classics like Half-Life.

Really cool idea. Good job!

Played a lot of games in this jam. This one caught me by surprise.

The story is compelling, and very emotionally driven. The minigames are short and cute, and each one serves its purpose of simbolizing everything we could be doing while we're here very well.

There are a lot of little details for a game made in such a short amount of time, and the artstyle and music glue everything together seamlessly!

Thank you for the experience!! Great job!

Had fun playing god!

The simple hand-drawn style fits the sandbox feel of the game quite well!
The animations and Sound effects are also cute.

Great job!

Lots of features and elements for a game made in such a short amount of time!

The idea is super cool, and it is very fun to play when you start gettin into the rythm of it.

Great job!

That Rover is gonna show up in my nightmares.

Very cool idea!

I really dig the art and animations.

Bold move doing a whole deckbuilder in a 5 day jam. Glad it turned out great!

Great Job!

Found myself a Job, and the meaning of the universe!

The easter eggs were a nice little touch that gives the game some extra replayability.

Great job!

Very charming and with attention to detail!

It is perfect that you gave the cat nine lives.

It is fast paced, short, and sweet, i loved it!!

Unfortunately the game bugged right before i was able to finish the last fight with death.

However,

I can't avoid 5 staring this one still, because you guys nailed every single metric!

The theme around the 5 stages of grief, turned into a beautifully styled and voice-acted roguelike turn-based combat made this a truly unique experience that i really enjoyed and will remember!

Really great job achieving this in a such a short amount of time, BRAVO!!

Very fun! It starts easy enough to understand the mechanics, but gets progressively harder, making you think about how you do things.

Loved the level where you just stacked them until you're high enough.

Great Job!

Very charming, and very fun.

The concept of using death as a way to advance is perfectly executed for the theme of "Death is an opportunity".

I also really dig the difficulty.

Great Job!

A very clever way of using a dice on Q-bert style world. Great job!

Great mood!

Nice! Your instincts served you well!

Thank you! Already did.

Genuinely one of my favorites! :)

Thanks!

Thank you! I can see what you mean.

The mechanics are versatile enough to work outside of the jam’s theme. That said, the dice weren’t just visual flavor; they directly drive the scoring system, since everything depends on how they roll. That’s where the connection to the theme came for me. (even though i might have not communicated well enough).

Thank you for taking the time to play and share your thoughts!

My concept for the theme was building the score system around rolling a die, with the number directly multiplying gains and losses.

I realize now that the theme connection may not have been as clear to players as it was in my head, but I really appreciate your feedback and am glad i’m glad you enjoyed the snappy feel and the sounds!

The balatro inspiration is palpable, in a great way!
The visuals are amazing, and so is the music.

Very fun to play too, easily one of the best entries i've personally seen so far

The aesthetics and music had really caught me. An excelent score attack that had me repeating the experience to get a highest score.
Well done!

The visuals and sounds are very charming!

Can tell the developer had fun in the process, which reflects a lot on the result.
Great job!

Going with a western aesthetic was a perfect way to blend "Dice with shooting". Well done!

Interesting concept. The dice roll always gives that antecipation of whats to come. Good job!

One of those simple games where the fun is in all the calculations you make in your head. Had a lot of  fun

Interesting concept, did something similiar where the dice the determines how many points the player gets.
Have a great one!

Got me hooked right away. The Roguelike gameplay loops fits perfectly with the randomness of the numbers. Great job!

Wow! As a huge fan of atmospheric Roguelike Deckbuilding games, i am truly impressed with this one. The ambiance and sound design are top notch. Eager to see more of it.
