Hey - just downloaded the game and really enjoyed reading it.

Here are some thoughts / questions:

  • Would be nice to get some background on why there are "epic sky battles occurring around world" just some context for the conflict and setting. Nice to have but not necessary.
  • That said I love the setting and saw your list of influences - I was thinking of Rocketeer and His Dark Materials as well. Has a very Steampunk vibe.
  • Layout and design very good and legible - easy to navigate the different rules areas - like the 2 fold design
  • Curious why you chose Mark of the Odd as the basis (I've never played it but checking it out) VS other game systems... not a criticism just legitimately curious...

You have everything there to make this a real game - I'd playtest it!

Hi - I read your rules and like how light-weight they are and quick to pick up.

Have a few comments and questions:

  • Graphics are very cool and fit the vibe
  • This seems like a great "starter" ruleset for people interested in trying out RPGs - you pack a lot into that single page
  • For Attributes a character has a total of 3 points to distribute across Strength, Dexterity and Intellect - so you could have 0 for some attributes? If so - it might be good to call that out. Maybe provide a few example characters like "Fighter has Str 2 Dex 1 Int 0".
  • Any way to earn more points? Or any character advancement? Like fail 5 rolls and get 1 point of experience?
  • I feel like Deception might be more of an Intellect skill vs Dex
  • You mention Magic as an attack type but I don't see any Magic attacks or spells or guidance. Is that a general "magic attack" like a fireball?
  • What about healing?

All in all - nice work! Seems like a good start at creating a simplified RPG set of mechanics.

Hey I really enjoyed reviewing this game - here are my thoughts:

  • Nice, slick design and graphics - really adds to the flavor
  • Rolling - a little confusing - you start with a d6 but if you advance the skill you can roll a d8?
  • Character Origins - love to know more about how each of these is different from the other - I gleaned a bit from the names (ie: Homo Machinus = Cyber) but maybe a sentence or two that describes each would be helpful.
  • Adrenaline Rush is a great mechanic - very realistic
  • Explosive Collars - that's a twist - love to see more about how those affect gameplay

All in all a cool 24XX concept that I would playtest anytime. Nice work!

This looks really cool! I am going to play a solo session this weekend.

Love the graphics and the vibe.
