The save issue is really giving me a headache. I'm seriously considering removing the Broswer version. (But that's also not an option. A lot of people already played the game in the browser.)

I've temporarily added a note in the guide saying "exe version is safer for saving," but honestly even I would probably skip reading it.

I tried to reproduce the issue you mentioned but couldn't get it to happen. I need to reproduce it to even find clues to fix it. Since it saves to each browser's localStorage, the data shouldn't disappear unless you clear cookies/cache. At least that's what I know.

I tried closing/reopening the browser and refreshing, but no luck. I'll dig a bit more. Really sorry for the save problems.

Testnig with Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Brave, and Epic Privacy Browsers. All of them are ok in my environment..

You are right. It was a bug.

That was meant to unlock in the full version but the explanation was unclear, making it look like a bug requiring 9999 clovers.

Thanks to your feedback, I fixed the bug. Really appreciate it!

Thank you for playing my game. The 9999 four leaf clovers refers to something available in the full version. Seeing all 3 means you've fully played through the demo! However, it should display as "-"—I'll check on that. Sorry for the unexpected WebGL bugs...

Thank you for the valuable info. I'll definitly check about it

I'm truly sorry for the negative experience you had. I thought the save system had been thoroughly tested after investing significant time, but I'll double-check it thoroughly once again. Quick question, did you play the game in incognito mode or in private mode?

Thank you for the feedback!
In the current version, I've added a + icon in the top-right corner for purchasable upgrades, and the tooltip description turns green when you have enough resources :)

Interesting game!

OMG, were you playing with html or exe file?

I'm really sorry for the incident..

After careful consideration, I've made the following changes:
- Upgrade tree reset is maintained
- Default zoom level now adjusts based on game progress (more visible as you advance)
FYI. I also considered there could be people who might get lost when the skill tree is moved unintentionally.

Hello MisterMusion,

Thank you for playing Mining Wizards and the feedback!

I'll try to figure out to keep the zoom and pan in upgrade tree, nice feedback :)

Hello Fort,
Thank you for playing the Mining Wizards and even make video out of it!
Grealty appreciated. About the hidden skill tree - I also thought quite a bit about it and my conclsion was to find out while player experience the game.

There could be many reasons,
- benchmarked similar games
- increase the game speed so it doesn't frustrate players too much
- pure explore of the skill tree
and so on.

As you have reminded me, I'll get more feedback and research on it

Actually, I'll keep as is.

  1. I tried to find another glossary for it
  2. I realized that StageEnd "Total Crytal Count" is really the total crystals that you have.
Total Crystal Count = Refined Crystals(Crystals that you earned during the sesison) + crystals that you had before the session

It may trigger cofusion for a bit. But I think it's ok to keep as is! Still thank you for the feedback!

Thank you for playing my game! I'll get more meat in the full version :)

Thank you for playing my game!

Not at all, it's really helpful to have your valuable feedback so I can improve the game :)
FYI. I'm too familiar with this game, I might miss cases where my intentions aren't coming across clearly to new players.

I'll definitely change the string to a better one!

Hello RaidanBullet,

From what I understand, your experience was as follows:

  1. When a session starts, your crystal amount is reset to 0.
  2. Only the crystals earned in that session can be used to buy skill tree upgrades.
  3. → Since it resets every time, talents or skill tree nodes related to crystal gain feel meaningless.

However, this is how it actually works:

  1. When a session starts, your crystal amount is reset to 0.
    – This is correct. The reason it resets to 0 is so it’s easy to see how much you earned in that specific session. If it didn’t reset, you’d have to manually calculate “final amount − crystals accumulated at the start of the session” every time, which would be tedious.
  2. Only the crystals earned in that session can be used for skill tree upgrades.
    – This is not correct. At the top left of the skill tree upgrade screen, you can see the total amount of crystals you’ve earned so far. That’s the pool that gets consumed whenever you unlock a skill tree node. If this is not working like that on your side, then it’s a bug. Since I haven’t encountered this bug myself yet, it would really help if you could share steps to reproduce it (for example, whether you were playing the HTML version or the EXE version, etc.).
  3. “Since it resets every time, talents or skill trees related to crystal gain are meaningless.”
    – The resources used for upgrades are not reset each time; they accumulate. So the talents and skill tree nodes related to crystal gain are actually very meaningful.

If I’ve misunderstood anything, please let me know.
Thank you for the comment!

Hello DreamWaker,

If you are referring to html then please wait a bit more, it takes time to hit 100%.

Or you can download the exe version. It's more stable :)

Hope it helps

Thank you ulgrude for play my game and comment! It really helps me to keep going :)
