Fun interpretation of the theme! It would be really cool if you could use your body to wall off the house, maybe it could take the squirrels a couple seconds to jump over or something...?

Wonderfully simple, elegantly designed... lots of nice things to say about this one. Kinda reminds me of Flywrench, in a great way. Nice work!

Super cute and clever! Being a word game fan, I would have loved a hardcore version, but I also appreciate this light, narrative version.

Super cute! I was a little confused by the physics in some cases, especially where I seem to be artificially constrained until I use a barrel, but that didn't stop me from taking down that big angry fella and hearing that "ooh!" one final time.

Nicely done! Took me a while to figure out the whole "bullets" thing, but once I did — and thanks to each bullet upgrade doubling damage — I took down the final boss before I even saw what it looked like!

Worth it just for the theme connection and "clockwise" and "counterclockwise" being the resources. Nice presentation, and very addictive!

Super cute. Love the train in particular: that 8-directional goodness! I did get into a weird state where there was one food stuck kinda between my two sushi wagons, and I couldn't pick up another...?

Fun art and minigames, I did get stuck on the fruit stand sorting one, though. Was I not supposed to put the fruit in the holes?

Very cool! In a future version, would love to see gradual changes to the loop in addition to the time going down.

The music is very cool! It reminds me of a certain era of puzzle games with reactive music (Lumines, Meteos, etc.)

Updated the description to give you your well-deserved props. :D

I'm glad you like the Ford version better! It was based on this one. The full board bonus is something like: the maximum number of empty spaces on the board since the last time it was full, times some multiplier. Do you like that mechanic? I was considering getting rid of it in the upcoming mobile version.

Actually, yes! Should be out early next year.

Great art and interface, and a beautifully simple idea at its heart. I like the variety of effects on weapons, but agree with other folks that the balance needs work. I appreciate just how hard it is to balance a game like this in such a short amount of time. It would also be really cool to introduce more mechanics that care about positioning, like having enemies block each other, etc.

I was able to upgrade a Redo Arrow to pretty insane levels for an easy win!

Neat! Loved the focus on a single mechanic that encapsulates everything from inventory to positioning to health.

Sure, I'll be the first to post a victory screenshot:

Cool twist on a roguelike — I was almost expecting some Sokoban elements at some point. I really liked the dash mechanic, although I'll say that dashing + free health refill each level + single-turn "snap" independent of length added up to a pretty breezy difficulty. Would love to see a more challenging version. Love the three distinct worlds, very impressive for 2 days of work!

We haven't added keyboard and mouse controls yet, so the game requires a controller right now. Going to fix this soon!

You can find the music (and the source code, and everything else) on the Github page: https://github.com/thquinn/Quintacolor/tree/master/quintacolor_assets

Thanks for playing! :)

Looks like Chrome just made some changes to their HTML5 implementation. Should be fixed now.

Hey, thanks for the video! The title menu music is still playing on top of gameplay even in 1.0.1, huh... thought I had fixed that... What operating system/browser are you on?

And yeah, I'll make the text on the meter darker. It's pretty hard to see.

Wow, thanks! That’s really nice to hear.

I've been working on game prototypes for almost 10 years, and I finally forced myself to finish one. It's a browser puzzle game that hearkens back to the days when a pile of colorful blocks was enough! And it's free! I hope you like it.
