He's back!!! Love the color choices hermano

Beautiful graphics. I think it's obvious and so maybe no one will say it but I will lol

The visuals are awesome. Stellar work!

This was a really simple idea done in a fun and challenging way. Also the visuals are nostalgic and awesome. Good job!

Very simple and fun, the designs and art are endearing and very impressive. Good job to everyone involved.

Everything from the graphics to the itch page is done so well, can't wait to see you keep making more awesome stuff Lepto! Also love the fact you took the time to make a Dev logEverything from the graphics to the itch page is done so well, can't wait to see you keep making more awesome stuff Lepto! Also love the fact you took the time to make a Dev log! The controls are simple but therein lies the challenge. Love how you took something simple and made it fun AND beautiful,

Thanks Lepto very kind words! We are glad you enjoyed it. We learned and hopefully can make something fun and even better in the future for you to enjoy

gotcha! Wasn’t sure if defaulted to that but no problem just wanted to set something up for anyone to try! Hope you keep doing more jams 🥳

thank you very much! 🥳

agree with your points and thanks dude it was fun to make the game with old and new friends!

A little unclear, I can't figure out where to go. I opened the door and entered the abyss, some players like me are a little slow so I think holding their hand at least in the beginning could be helpful! Game feels like something I played when I was younger!

Very atmospheric! I love the menu with the undead waking up, and the concept is very simple but cool. I do wish it explained where the factory is a bit so I know not to let them pesky undead in lol the post processing and everything is also very nostalgic. Great job

I really like the cinematic touch in the beginning with the cool artwork, I think the game is a bit quiet and could of used some audio throughout just to bring a little energy to it. The idea of phasing is cool, but I think maybe it could be distinguished as some walls you can and some you cant with color or something. It is an interesting idea and I would be interested in seeing it fleshed out a bit! I imagine this was a small team if not one person working on this so its tough to do the whole thing.

Both browsers I played are acting up,  I tried edge and the characters are replaced with the Godot logo :( I will have to try again on another browser outside of my two rn but the concept seems straight forward

I think if you didn't go around rating people's games 1 star for no reason others would be inclined to help you.

Great effort, I think the style is charming and the sound design is cool, although maybe a bit of a longer loop for the music would of been good, or having it not reset with each death would of helped since the enemies can spawn and kill you with one hit. Maybe a little more health or a more quick attack that doesn't have such a long cool down would make for a faster pace. Overall the concept is cool and I think just needed a bit more time and help!

Great dang job! Simple, and a ton of fun! The style is awesome for an indie arcade cabinet game, the guns feel weighty... enemies are simple but the grave concept of having to essentially double tap the stronger enemies is awesome! Great job, really. The game is presented and done very tightly and well.

Reminds me a bit of the early Newgrounds days... dragging the vampire and also shooting with clicking is a bit difficult, I would of set the shooting mechanic separate from the mouse with a key press maybe so you can hold it in front and shoot. Maybe I am just dumb though and can't figure it out! Music is very eerie and interesting!

Thanks Lepto, it was a blast!

did your thing ever get added to the calendar Goose? Facing the same issue, I did create the game jam a couple months ago now as well

The game is awesome! I just have a couple points of feedback.

Art Style - Beautiful, the spritework is crisp and cute. The designs are very neat and translate well through the pixels.

Sound - Sound design is awesome, very spacey and exciting. Helps keep you going through the turn-based gameplay which gets to be a fairly decent wait when you hit level 2. I wish the menu had a theme and that the music stayed exciting and upbeat throughout the level but it seems to fade out.

Mechanics/Gameplay - Gameplay is cool, very simple concept but it is fun. There seems to be a couple glitches though, one being the delay of the Tree Type UI coming in from the left side. Sometimes you have to click/unclick the button to bring up the UI. The other glitch being if you click the tree type but then choose to walk, it will spawn the tree where you walk. This seems to give you the ability to plant and move at the same time (making you almost unbeatable to the AI) but also gives you a farther reach to plant since you can walk farther than you can plant.

Presentation - It is perfect, looks and feels like something that is industry standard. Even the itch.io page feels inviting.

What I would change: Gameplay loop does become a bit stale quickly; maybe adding random events like weather or natural disaster to shake up the game and make it harder or easier depending the event and if it is a buff/debuff. Maybe more enemy types although I am sure things like that came down to a lack of time otherwise they feel like ideas that would of made it into the game.

Overall, great stuff to everyone involved. I would feel very proud if I was any of them!
