We are looking for creative programmers and writers, video editors and Unity programmers who love strategy and RTS games. As well as artists and various other roles who love Command & Conquer. We are currently at 40.000 wishlist additions on Steam. Are you looking for an ambitious project that will finish no matter what? Then this might be for you!
Alpha gameplay here, article here
Right now we have tanks, helicopters, 6 playable maps, basic multiplayer and a whole bunch of other stuff. We have a playable prototype that we have started sending out to publishers. However the industry standards are quire high nowadays so the more things we can add to it, and the more we can polish to it, the bigger the odds of success. That is where we are now. And that's why we're looking for people who will want to help polish the game and in the meantime get to know each other and our work methods.
Ideally I would like to work with people whose aim it is to eventually work in this industry fulltime rather than doing their current job. That way when funding comes in we start increasing our paid core and grow as a whole. Basically for me this is also a way to get to know new people, identify their strengths and try to find a role for them that fits them best both mentally and productively. We don't know exactly where that will take us eventually, but we know the growing part definitely works. We also know we have enough marketing tools to, if we want to, release our game on our own and have decent success. However a publisher remains preferable for dozens of reasons, at least at this stage.
The game
This game will take place in the near future and will feature slightly scifi units but with a very military feel to them. We are currently working on a demo for publishers and we are at about 95% of the way there. We already have a great audio SFX guy and some good programmers.
What are we looking for?
- Unity Programmers
- Marketing help (we'll teach you, all we ask for is your time)
- Video Editors
- General game developers (basically any role that knows a bit about development in unity but can spend a lot of time creating or improving levels, visuals, explosions, particle effects, animations or anything else that increases the projects quality even more
- Text writers (not for ingame texts) / Press contacts
- 3D artists (show portfolio)
- 2D artists (concept art, GUI art)
- SFX creator + SFX programmer
- Audio programmer (wwise)
- Map creators (who can actually create the map in unity or are willing to learn)
- People who love to make social media posts
- People who love to do marketing
What are you getting? Once funding comes in (roughly 2 months after the demo is completed, but no guarantee of course) you will get the choice of either a percentage of the profit or being paid an hourly amount of money, or a combination of both. Whatever you prefer at that point.
This game is also guaranteed to finish and the odds of getting a decent publisher are also higher than average. This is based both on past experience and the current agency that already does this professionally. I know the word 'guaranteed' is going to trigger some people, so let me rephrase that to 'unless I die or fall seriously ill this project will get done'.
About me I myself have 15 years of experience in the IT industry of which 4 years very intensively. My experience (and tasks) include programming, marketing, art, team/project management, business management, HR related stuff and game design. For this project however I will be doing none of the programming since that won't leave enough time for all the other tasks. Some of which could easily be fulltime jobs in their own rights as industry veterans can vouch for.
Future prospects If working together is pleasant and productive then I also intend to actually hire you for future projects should you be interested. My own personal goal is to have a healthy company of gamedevs who are as enthusiastic as me to work together with within the next 2 years.
Interested in completing a decent quality game?
Send me a DM with your experience, even if you dont have any but are motivated, and why you want to join and let's talk! If you're applying as a programmer and don't have a portfolio just tell me a bit about what networking experience you have and if there are any projects you've completed so far!

Hi, I'm looking for programmers and some other roles to work on our citybuilder/citybuilding engine.
The game idea
This game/engine will center mostly around expanding the amount of settlers in your city, then keeping them happy and fed. Through trade and production you'll obtain goods to increase their quality of life. Threats like civil unrest and outside armies are present in some scenarios, as well as fire and engineering hazards.
If this sounds fun to you, feel free to send me a message!

About us
I've set up a network of artists and other industry talents to work with towards prototypes and engines like this. So far so good, we're growing steadily, and ideally I'd want you to become part of that growth and build a long term relationship together!
In that relationship you will be programming together with other programmers, our artists will add visuals to whatever you make, quality checks and game design efforts will be undertaken, and structure will be added in the shape of weekly meetings. Initially this will start as revshare, but at some point we'll likely get signed by a publisher after which we can discuss together what would make the most sense (salary, work for hire, revshare, combination of those etc).
What roles do we need?
I'm looking to develop an citybuilding engine as well as the game that goes with it. Primarily we'll need a few programmers, ideally ones who have unity experience, but ideally some C++ experience as well. The latter is mostly needed to read some of the Ceasar III systems and figure out how it was written and why, after which you can port it to Unity. This is no small feat, but I have a plan in place for it.
- Programmers
- 2d and 3d artists (always welcome)
- Marketeers (will be trained by me, but previous experience is welcome)
- Bizdev people (will be trained by me, but previous experience is welcome)
Interested?
Send me your discord ID and mention for what role you're interested in, as well as where you're from ^^. Thanks for reading!

For a client we're creating a match 3 clone basically, but with a bunch of custom wishes. We already have two programmers working on it part-time and we're looking for suitable reinforcements so that we can divide the tasks more evenly.
We are looking for programmers who can:
- Work with Unity
- Have experience developing for android and iOS (ideally)
- Have worked with 2D
- Can work with logic/math already set up by the lead programmer
- Not a beginner (unfortunately, since there is some complexity and we currently dont have the time for extra training)
- Not a company/outsourcer
Please feel free to send me a DM with your discord, hourly rate and previous work so that we can figure out if we're a good match or not. Below I'm copy pasting some of the deliverables for this milestone since I need to increase the wordcount to 250 anyway. Actually I might not and will just write the current process instead since that's more useful.
- Client tells us what he wants
- We estimate the hours and divide the work
- He approves them
- We send out an invoice for the downpayment
- He pays
- We do the work (so we are stuck with fixed times)
- We send the invoice for the wrapup
Looks like I need some more words after all for this post to get approved, so here is a short summary of what we are working on this milestone:
- Implementing graphics from an asset pack
- Fixing a bug related to swapping and falling of candies
- Adding a loading screen to the game
- Upgrade the shop with smaller icons, a golden frame
- Add blockers to the level completion
- And a bunch more :)
Interested? Send me a dm with your discord, hourly rate and previous work so that we can figure out if we're a good match or not.
Just as the title says we're looking for someone to help develop our candy crush clone. It's sort of for a client, and we work in milestones basically. We deliver, client pays, I pay you, repeat once per month or so.
We are looking for programmers who can:
- Work with Unity
- Have experience developing for android
- Have worked with 2D
- Not a beginner (unfortunately, since there is some complexity and we currently dont have the time for extra training)
No idea if anyone like that lurks here, but I figured it was worth a shot asking. We already have a programmer but since we'd like to work a little faster some extra help would go a long way. Interested? Send me a DM with some of your previous work! Ideally share your discord link too ^^

Thank you for your input on this but generally speaking we are still in the same phase of the project. Even though a lot has been done. I will update the text again the moment the demo is done and we're in the next stage.
I did already update some of the text before posting this though, along with adding new images and a new video

Direct correlation between time spent & quality) - 3D artists (show portfolio) - 2D artists (concept art, GUI art) - Map creators (who can actually create the map in unity or are willing to learn) - Composers who can make Frank Klepacki style music (send the track that most closely resembles it please and/or make a small demo) - General game developers (basically any role that knows a bit about development in unity but can spend a lot of time creating or improving levels, visuals, explosions, particle effects, animations or anything else that increases the projects quality even more

What are you getting?
Once funding comes in (roughly 3 months after the demo is completed, but no guarantee of course) you will get the choice of either a percentage of the profit or being paid an hourly amount of money, or a combination of both. Whatever you prefer at that point.
This game is also guaranteed to finish and the odds of getting a decent publisher are also higher than average. This is based both on past experience and the current agency that already does this professionally.
Future prospects
If working together is pleasant and productive then I also intend to actually hire you for future projects should you be interested.
Interested in completing a decent quality game?
Send me a DM with your portfolio / experience and why you want to join and let's talk! If you're applying as a programmer and don't have a portfolio just tell me a bit about what networking experience you have and if there are any projects you've completed so far ^^
Do you like real time strategy games? Or are you looking for a project with a clear goal in mind? Then this might be for you :)
I'm looking for unity programmers for an RTS inspired by Red Alert, Tiberian Sun, Supreme Commander and other games from the golden age of RTS games.
This game will take place in the near future and will feature slightly scifi units but with a very military feel to them. We are currently working on a demo for publishers and we are at about 90% of the way there. We already have a great audio SFX guy and some good programmers.
