Yeah, I like putting in something to represent the fact its a jam game in my entries. Usually it's a "made for Mini Jam" thing on the main menu bit since it's fnaf I thought I'd put Jimmy in the office. If my headphones hadn't died I would've added a "boop" thing too (arguably one of the best things in fnaf games is booping the nose)

Glad you liked it!

No worries! I did add a tutorial after you said you had trouble figuring out what to do so that this issue is less likely to pop up again. Thanks for the feedback!

It's a pretty good game, it's just the invisible walls were a little strange and I think at one point the player straight-up vanished briefly in the left corner??? I dunno how to explain it.
Still cool though, great job!

Yeah, partway through development my headphones stopped working so I wasn't able to record a phone guy to act as a tutorial, I'm sorry about that. (I might just add a tutorial on the menu in an update until I'm able to add a phone guy)
The point is to survive until 6 AM for five nights, the animatronics getting more aggressive each night.
Did you see the arrows at the bottom of the screen? if you put your mouse over it, it'll activate the cameras so that you can check on the animatronics.
Putting your mouse over it again will deactivate the cameras so you can check the doors.
You did the right thing closing the door, you just need to keep it closed until they can leave, you'll know they've left if you see them in the cameras again. Once you do, you can open the door again, keeping the door closed drains power, same with using the cameras. if your power hits 0, the lights will go out and you won't be able to use the doors or cameras, from there you either hope it hits 6 AM, or you get jumpscared.
I'm glad you liked the jumpscare!
Milo and Ami appear on your Right, while Elle appears on your left.
When Ami leaves your door, she'll just go back to the right hall, so keep an eye on her.
Lila is a special case, she doesn't like the cameras, so she won't move with them up. while they're down she'll get a chance to move.
She has 4 phases before she tries to attack you. You'll know what phase she's on by the number of stars at Moon Grove.
If she's not there, and you check the left hall, she'll come running at you.
Close the door before she gets there or she'll jumpscare you, so be quick!
(There's also a secret character that acts like Lila but runs down the right hall)

Hope this helps! Please note you don't have to beat all five nights, you can stop at any night past night 1 and your progress will be saved :)

I also just added a web version if you want to try that.

did you download the pck file too?

Great game!

pck files have been uploaded! If the exe alone doesn't work, download the pck as well

I love that song :D

(Also if you had any issues with playing the game without the pck file I'm gonna upload those asap)

Interesting concept, had a difficult time switching to the loop I wanted to switch to though. Still fun!

Very cute game! I lost at level 11

The music was made in Bosca Ceoil, which I hadn't used in a very long time so i cant remember if there was a volume control option.
I hadn't written much music before this, and I think it shows in the boss theme especially since it was the first one I did for the game, I'm not entirely happy with that one and I can tell what you mean with the micro-tonal chords. Very sorry about that, but I'm glad it didn't stop you from having a good time with the game!
I'll see if I can fix the volume issue in a future update (and maybe try recreating the music because I forgot to save the files)

Love the hand animation, did you use rotoscoping? If you did it was a very clever use for it
Great game!

Feels a bit too slow and some of the jumps were a bit too hard.
I do love the art though!

Yeah, I'm not fully happy with the boss, It's hard to get a good balance with the random intervals for when the boss shoots which makes it neither too easy nor too hard.
I'll see if I can fix the boss in an update. Thanks for the feedback!

Yeah, I'm not entirely happy with how the boss fight goes (considering there's a bug where the boss won't jump properly which is why it stands in place)
I have it shoot at random intervals but I found in testing that if the intervals are too short you get very few chances to hit the boss, and you're more likely to die too quickly without some sort of indication of when the boss will fire.
I will be working on fixing that in an update with some other bug fixes like the lack of jumping from the boss.

Thanks for the feedback!

A lot of fun! I love the little voice in the beginning that's like "vAnqUish thEm"
The metal music is very fitting too! Great Job!

Great game!

Interesting concept, highest score i got was 18
Took a bit for me to realize it was the space bar to move but it was still fun.

This is probably the longest comment I got out of all the others (not a bad thing, I really appreciate the fact you left a comment at all, it means a lot!)
This is my first Godot game, and I'm happy that the palette I chose to use gave the cute, cozy vibe I was going for.
The aliasing on the lights seems to be only a thing with the web build.
I have no idea why it does that, but I'm glad it didn't affect your experience with the game in a bad way.

Adding a map is an interesting idea, but I don't think a tiny fairy would be able to hold it with no arms.
Maybe the child can hold it or something, I'll need to brainstorm about that if I decide to include it in a future update.
But I do think I just need some more practice making mazes because I don't think I'm very good at it right now.

Thank you for the comment, I'm glad you liked the game!

Art is fantastic! Controls are confusing but it was fun figuring out what to do. Found out about [ESC] showing the instructions through random button presses.
Pretty fun, great job!

Very cool

Very fun to play, the end scream took a moment to appear after the boss was beaten, and the player doesn't seem to take any damage from enemies, but it's still a great game!

Rather tricky, but still very fun!
The music and art are amazing too, great job!

Enemies were difficult to beat, and there was this one bug where the game over screen showed when you pressed play after dying.
Great effort though!

Love the puzzle, pretty fun to figure out. i wish there was more

I think there's something wrong with the game, When i started it up the first time it took forever to load so i closed it out, and whenever i tried to open it after it would open briefly and then shut down.
Unfortunate, because the idea seems realy cool

Love how you gave customization options at the start, at one point the enemies just started crowding around me and i couldnt blast them because they werent in range of the wand.
Great idea though!

Pretty cool graphics, wish there was a way to restart when you die though.

I must say, i was very surprised to see that iconic green flag from scratch before the game even started. Had no clue you could do that!
Anyway, the game itself is pretty good! Took two of my party members dying to realize i had to drag the orbs to heal and deal damage, but it was still pretty good!

I love the magical girl idea!! the buttons are a bit weird in full screen, but it was still a lot of fun to play!

Very cute art style, amazing music, I loved every second!

Fantastic game, had a lot of fun!

Fantastic art, and great cutscene in the begining

The most ADORABLE wizard ever!!! So fun to play, and the music was fun to listen to! Great job!!

Fantastic visuals, the only issue is i couldn't get past the first level, i couldn't even make the first jump!
(That might just be a skill issue on my end, but still)
Great effort though!

Music and Art are fantastic, Concept is great too,
Although, (this might just be me) Being greeted by a wall of text is not very appealing. Having to read and remember so much at once is a bit overwhelming. Maybe if the player had a little more interactivity with the customers by directly asking them questions about where they want to go and what they want for the vacation?
Overall though, great game!

Great concept! I did get a bit confused when the controls disappeared though.

Very fun to play, Love the voice acting too.

The art is stunning and the ambience is great too! Truly amazing!
