Bacon Project is a anime-style card game for fans of 1v1 duels. The game pits two criminals renowned for their destructive capabilities in an underground arena. Each player embodies one such character with a unique set of skills and abilities.

Your goal is simple : Defeat your opponent’s character. Victory comes from timing your abilities well, chaining strong combos, and outsmarting the other player at every turn.

Hello everyone !

We are roughly ONE month away from releasing the early access video game version of the card game, Bacon Project here on Itch !

A bunch of players there have been testing recent character changes HERE and through Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia.

If you’re an experienced Bacon Project player here on Itch.io, your feedback would be super valuable.  And if you’re a new player, now is a perfect time to familiarize yourself with the game. Since the video game announcement, lots of veterans are active and ready to teach, spar, and answer any questions about the rules, characters, or the world.

Hello everyone !

I just updated the gamplay of The Bloody Ex-CopLincoln Hayes with the help of the community on Discord.

His Character Card has been added to the Bacon Project files here on Itch !  I suspect his version's ultimate ability may be a little too powerful . . .

Hello everyone !

Here is a peek at the current state of the video game version of Bacon Project, straight from our latest build ! Below is a screenshot showing how things are shaping up.

This screenshot is taken from the perspective of the Hector Hunt player. We went with this layout to keep everything clean and easy to follow, without flooding the screen with too much info. Before we hit Early Access in January 2026, here are the visual elements that have yet to be added :

• Playing cards will be updated to match the official Bacon Project card designs.

• The white Cast Zone rectangle will either become transparent or get its proper Bacon Project skin.

• The grey Stack Zone will also receive its final skin.

• All icons will be polished and updated.

• The background image will likely change to something more fitting.

• The font across all text will be replaced with one that matches the Bacon Project vibe more closely. More previews are on the way !

Note that we are currently three people working on this Early Access build — all while juggling our regular jobs. After the Early Access launch, the team will most likely grow, especially as we aim for a full Steam release by the end of 2026. That stage will bring a lot more to the table including animations, voice acting and music.

With about ONE month left until the early video game version of Bacon Project, I’ve been going through the kits of every playable character from the physical version of Bacon Project. The goal is to make sure the roster feels fair, fun, and full of good matchups in the digital version.

I’ve been doing this together with the community on the Bacon Project Discord Server. A bunch of players there have been testing recent character changes through Tabletop Simulator and Tabletopia.  That help has been huge, especially because our dev team is tiny — just three people ( me, our programmer, and our graphic designer ) working on the game alongside full-time jobs.

If you’re an experienced Bacon Project player here on Itch.io, your feedback would be super valuable. Balance testing is happening right now, and this is the best moment to jump in and shape the final roster.

And if you’re a new player, now is a perfect time to familiarize yourself with the game. Since the video game announcement, lots of veterans are active and ready to teach, spar, and answer any questions about the rules, characters, or the world.

Hello everyone !

Remember when I announced that I would keep ya’ll up-to-date  regarding the mechanics that had yet to be integrated  in the Bacon Project video game ?

Well, things have accelerated these past weeks and it would seem that ALL the mechanics have now been integrated !

We are now checking for bugs and adding more characters into the game.

Note that not all the characters currently playable in the physical version will be playable in the first build of the video game version. Some characters have complicated effects that will need more time to test.

End of January 2026 is currently still the release date for the early build of the Bacon Project video game !

Hello everyone !

It’s been a while  — 7 months, to be exact — since I last made any sort of update to Bacon Project here on Itch.io.

Earlier this year, I met a programmer. Over the following months, we talked extensively about Bacon Project and explored the idea of creating a fully automated video game adaptation. After many in-depth discussions, we officially began development back in March.

And now, after 7 months of hard work . . .

I’m thrilled to announce that an early version of the Bacon Project video game will be available for everyone to play on Itch.io in January 2026 !

From January onwards, we will be working tirelessly to improve and promote the video game with the goal of releasing a refined version by the end of 2026 !

Oh wow, I didn't even think of doing that !

I have just now put the playing cards in a zip !

Heya !

The Character Profiles have been merged into a single PDF, but I left the option for people to download the profiles separately just in case ~

Regarding the custom deck of 54 cards,  I was going to put them into one pdf until I realised there were two issues :

1) The custom cards have no visible borders on white paper, which I figured would make cutting them out evenly rather complicated
2) I felt that establishing the size of the cards on paper would be inconvenient for players owning card sleeves that are not of the same size

Since Bacon Project uses a standard deck of 54 cards,  I figured that people really wanting to use the custom cards would rather have the resources independantly to make their version all the more clean and professional-looking

That being said, I can add a pdf of all the custom cards, but it will take time
