Thank you! We're super glad you enjoyed it and we do apologize for the bugs. Truth be told we were aware of most of them but were unable to fix them in time.

The project has a better reception than we anticipated, and I myself am quite in love with it, so I will be fleshing it out more and turning it into a full game.

Filled out a bug report. I was on easy difficulty and I didn't do anything special

It's fun even though I suck at this kind of games. I fell off the map way too often hehe. I loved the characters and voice acting though!

The concept is fun, the art is stunning, but I can't figure out how to build a turret for the life of me

Super fun game, really cute art too. The only problem would be the fact that you can cheese the game by casting fireball outside the aggro range. I loved the bossfight tho

A tense and thrilling cooking game, I enjoyed it more than I expected I would. Unfortunately almost every time I lost the game crashed, so I couldn't see the explanation for the monsters except once. Would play it again and try to beat it if the bug can be fixed

Super fun an challenging, with a silly whimsical vibe. A small game, as expected from a game jam, but with great execution on all fronts!

This looks like a great game for speedruns, but the lag is a big issue. The character physics are fun and snappy. The art is unique and juicy, including the sfx and music. The vibe is that of an old-school flash game. Not the most original concept, but it definitely has potential

Reminds me of the pillow episode from Adventure Time. Really interesting vibes

This is ridiculously addicting. The difficulty is in such a sweet spot where it's challenging enough to be rewarding when you master the controls but not so challenging as to be infuriating

Great game...making game

Great game! Love the tradeoff between visibility and movement speed. The lighting and sound design are smooth and it feels amazing.  With more content, this could be an enjoyable game.

Hello and welcome to Kingdom Crush! This is my first finished game and my first jam entry as well!

It is a tower offense, meaning you will have to command the monsters that attack the kingdom while your opponent (the AI) builds defensive towers. There's only two levels for now but if people like the concept I will continue to work on it outside the jam.

Controls:

  • Press T to speed up progression. Note: this also speeds up tower spawn rates.
  • Use arrow keys to navigate the menu
  • Spacebar to upgrade
  • Enter to spawn selected monster
  • Click to cast a spell. Note that the heal and freeze spells are relative to the cursor position.

Beautifully disturbing. Suggestions: showing how many items of each type you have in the shop and highlighting the objects you can interact with

Cute little shooter. It's somewhat playable, though very unpolished. Here's some things you could try to improve:

- slightly larger UI

- an in-game pause menu

- hit flash frames so it's more obvious to the player when an enemy takes damage

-  enemy pathfinding so they can avoid obstacle
