Hi! I’ve just published a deep analysis review of The Attic 18 on IndieGameInsight.

I found the concept really interesting — especially how you turned anomaly detection into a core survival mechanic. The atmosphere and sound design work really well together, and the overall experience feels very polished.

Here’s the review if you’d like to check it out: 👉 [link]

I’ll be covering more indie horror games like this on the site, so I’ll definitely keep an eye on your future projects.

Sorry, I didn’t receive your email. Feel free to send your message directly here, marko@indiegameinsight.com

Hi! Sure — you can contact me through the IGI website using the contact form.

Hi everyone! I’m working on an editorial project focused on reviews and analysis of indie horror games, especially PS1‑style titles: IndieGameInsight.

The site is growing, and I’m looking for collaborators who are passionate about indie horror and interested in:

  • writing reviews,
  • analyzing short or experimental games,
  • suggesting interesting titles,
  • contributing to the growth of the project.

No professional experience is required — just passion, consistency, and a genuine interest in exploring the genre.

If anyone is interested, I’d be happy to talk!

Hi! I recently reviewed THE SOUL on IndieGameInsight, focusing on its PS1-style horror design and atmosphere.

There’s a lot of potential in the concept, especially in how tension is built through sound and limited visibility.

Curious to see how the project evolves!

Hi! I recently played Psycho Inn and really enjoyed the atmosphere and pacing — especially how you handled tension in such a short experience.

I wrote a detailed review focusing on both the gameplay and technical design. If you're interested, you can read it here:

Psycho Inn Review – Short PS1-Style Horror With Strong Pacing & Tension

Thanks for the experience, and I’m curious to see how the project evolves in the future!

Hey Jordan,

I just published a full review of Don't Stop in Red Wood on IndieGameInsight — a magazine focused on indie horror design analysis.

I covered the atmosphere, the CopperCube engine limitations, the cutscene-driven structure, and the multi-perspective narrative. Gave it a 7/10.

Really enjoyed the PSX aesthetic and the tension you built in the forest sections. Hope it brings some visibility to the game.

Hi! I recently published a deep design analysis and review of Overburden on my indie game magazine, IndieGameInsight.

I really appreciated the experimental bunker atmosphere and the mechanical gameplay loop built around the drill system.

If you're interested, you can read the full article here: https://indiegameinsight.com/overburden-review/

Thanks for making such an interesting experimental project!

Hello,

I purchased on itch.io  and paid $8, but the game will not start on my PC. When I try to launch it,

What I have already tried:

  • Running the executable as administrator
  • Launching from the itch app
  • Disabling antivirus/Windows Defender temporarily
  • Reinstalling the game
  • Updating GPU drivers

Thank you for your help,

We recently published a review of the Martha’s Dolls 2 Demo on IndieGameInsight.
The PS1-style atmosphere and unsettling tone really stood out.

If anyone is curious about the design and gameplay structure, you can read the full review here:
