Hi! I played the full Steam release of Dead Stop: No Vacancy and spent almost five hours with it.

I really enjoyed the Paradise Motel opening, the atmosphere and especially the reactive sound design. The transition into the caves was surprising and made the experience feel almost like two different horror games.

Unfortunately, I could not finish the game because of the bridge with the symbol stones. I spent nearly two hours testing different routes, walking slowly and following the visible symbols. The safe route appeared to change between attempts, and sometimes every available stone seemed to collapse. I am not sure whether I missed the intended logic or encountered a bug, but the sequence completely stopped my progress.

I also encountered an input issue where the game detected a controller even though none was connected. The prompts changed to controller buttons and keyboard movement stopped working correctly until I restarted the game.

There is a good short horror experience here, and I would genuinely like to see the ending. I hope these issues can be investigated.

I wrote about my full experience here:

Hey TalosAscia, I'm sorry that you encountered these issues. Just so we can better understand what happened: Were you following the correct sequence and the safe tiles were still breaking, or were you perhaps using a different sequence? The sequence symbols are written on the cave walls: one near the bridge, the others outside where the spiders are patrolling.

Regarding the controller, that it a strange one. No controller connected, correct?
If it's not asking too much, the save file and Player.log would be extremely helpful. The files are located here: C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\LocalLow\Camel 101\Dead Stop - No Vacancy
If you could send them to info@camel101.com, that would be a huge help.
