Cheers, Suckulent Games
Hi all,
Dev on an Adult Visual Novel / Dating Sim called Millhaven. Looking for a character artist for the first chunk of a longer art replacement programme. My community voted for prioritising small commissioned art over other spend, and I'm rolling it out in chunks as budget allows.
This chunk
4 character illustrations of Mia, one of the two main girls, or both girls depending on cost.
She progresses through 4 corruption tiers, each with its own distinct outfit / makeup / body language. I'm happy to talk through what would work best, I'm not the most creative person ;P. Current thinking:
- Pure - fitted red t-shirt, blue jeans, confident smirk
- Curious - crop top + short shorts, bolder makeup
- Willing - club-wear, heels, very revealing
- Corrupted - red shiny micro bikini top + red crotchless panties (pussy visible), choker, fully exposed
She's 19, blonde / light brown long hair, green eyes, curvy build. I'll send a one-page character reference doc with full visual + personality breakdown when you reach out.
Also open to talking about different art styles. If your look doesn't match what's currently in the game but you think it'd suit the project, send it over and I'll take a look.
Format - two routes
The game currently shows these as 5-second looping animations in-engine. I can handle this two ways:
Route A - you deliver one illustration per tier, I animate it locally. I run the illustration through a local (offline) image-to-video model on my own machine to produce the loop. Nothing is uploaded, no artist work is used for model training, and the output only lives in the game build. Happy to walk through the pipeline.
Route B - you deliver the loop. Short hand-drawn frame loop, Live2D rig, Spine rig, AE puppet, whatever fits your workflow.
Quote whichever you're comfortable with. Totally fine to decline Route A on ethical grounds, I'd rather know upfront than waste your time.
Rights + credit
- Full commercial rights (game is sold on Patreon / itch, eventually Steam)
- Marketing rights (banners, trailers, social posts)
- You keep portfolio rights to the work
- Credited in-game credits screen + mentioned in the Patreon release announcement when your work ships
NSFW disclosure
Scope includes an explicit illustration. No penetration, no partner. All characters are adult (19+).
Budget
Open to quotes on the 4 illustrations (Route A), commercial rights included. Route B quotes welcome separately. If your rates are higher I'll still read the application.
What to include in your reply
- Portfolio link (please include at least one piece)
- Route A or B or both
- Your quote for the 4 illustrations
- Typical turnaround
- Revision policy
- Whether the NSFW scope works for you
Timeline + ongoing
No fixed deadline on this chunk, I care more about getting a good match than speed. After this I have a larger programme planned, so there's ongoing work if the first chunk goes well. I can only commit one chunk at a time as funding comes from Patreon cycles.

Cheers.
I've just discovered that NSFW games can't be indexed if they accept any form of payment.
I had "name your own price" enabled — I've now disabled it so the game is completely free with no payment options.
Hoping this was the missing piece!
If a moderator could give my page a review or bump ticket #342646, I'd really appreciate it.
Hi,
My first game, https://suckulentgames.itch.io/millhaven, has been published since February 7th but still isn't indexed. I submitted ticket #342646 on the same day and followed up by email on the 18th — no response to either yet.
I've read through the https://itch.io/docs/creators/getting-indexed docs and the https://itch.io/t/4120453/unofficial-search-and-indexing-faq. The game is free, NSFW-tagged, has downloads, cover image, screenshots, metadata, and a devlog.
I understand new sellers go through manual review. Could a moderator please flag my ticket to the admins?
Happy to make any changes if something needs fixing.
Thank you!
