pretty incredible proof of concept! strangely, the first person perspective, darkly coloured environments and geometric enemies give off indie horror game vibes. like, bandersnatch/polybius. it's a little disconcerting. I think if you ran with that vision you could make something really atmospherically unique; given its still an action/arcade game. just some thoughts
I like the presentation - reminds of thin ice from club penguin. I think I need a holistic understanding of how dice works lol - as in a basic guide of which numbers are oppositely faced etc. because I feel like by lvl 8 im just doing trial and error and going on paths that *look* like the solution, but no real a-ha puzzle solving going on
I think this is a lovely concept that has some really good roots for further development (if you want to!). I liked the risky nature of selecting bigger garden sets for greater point values - and the variety of flowers are neat. Mostly, I think this game relies on audio/visual; and for 48h its quite cute and pleasant.
I think customisable garden layouts and the abillity to rotate setpieces (especially for those L bushes) would be nice. Also pathing, statues, water features? maybe a requirement of completion is that the gardener can walk from his house to the other side unobstructed.
thanks!
