The drawings, animations, and sounds are very relaxing and nice to look at!

1) This definitely captured a feeling of nostalgia for me when I ran long distance during football training for High School. Starting always sucked, but I always eventually got lost in the scenery.

2)They were definitely sufficient for this game. I didn't miss anything, I felt engaged the whole time.

I love how the first key uses the example dialogue, and each subsequent key adds more to the dialogue. Good parody on games using keys, and them just being around in the weirdest places. The last part caught me off guard, twas a good punchline

The story is very interesting. I felt like I went on a journey!

2a)  Definitely successful, there were even ways that using different shades of blue conveyed emotion. It is cool to see the nuance / emotional range of just one color on display here.

2b) The snow part confused me only because it didn't immediately occur to me that I had to go up and around the white blocks of snow. That could've just been specific to me though. Overall the direction of where to go was very clear and intuitive throughout.

Ahh thanks! I'll make the hit boxes better for that. I've already made the player hit box smaller too, so that will feel a lot better

Thank you! Glad you found it fun. Thanks for letting me know about the bug, I managed to find this bug myself and fixed it. I am releasing an update in about a week to add polish, better mechanics and level design,  add more content, and fix as many bugs as I can find.

Thank you for the suggestions! Appreciate it since I'm trying to make this a really solid platformer. I am going to update the game in about a week or so to polish it off. I haven't heard of coyote running before, but I looked it up and seemed like it would really improve the feel and remove so many annoying mistakes during play-through so I'm adding it now. I've also been working on the level design a bit since it was obviously rushed. Making sure enemies aren't anywhere you can't fairly fight them, platforms are evenly spaced out and aren't in the way, and shrinking hit boxes a bit. Learning a lot with this one, its been a great experience!

Cool Concept! Like how you used the theme and its fun/frustrating to try and get to the box with the crazy amount of drift hahah. The biggest thing I would say can be improved is the camera. I feel like the sensitivity is too high and the camera may be too close to the car. Great job!

This was a pretty fun game! Very simple and straight forward. Jump and movement are solid.  Maybe another move or attack could be cool, but maybe that would take away from the goal of this game, not sure. Anyway, great job!!

Thank youuu! Yeah fall damage is such a perfect and simple solution I totally didn't even consider. Would've completely changed the game. Definitely going to update the game in the near future to round it off.

Thank you! I'm glad you like the attack, that's something I like to add to platformers, especially (in this case) when you only have a melee attack and nothing else. Am also glad to hear you like the art style! Means a lot since so much effort went into it. As for the slimes/enemies in general they were actually supposed to be frog/alien creatures, but due to the time constraint the programmer(me) had to improvise hahah. We will definitely update the game to round it off in the near future, had fun making it. Thanks again!

Yeah I had a similar problem, it's the nature of game jams I guess. It's nice to know from the feedback what's missing for next time though. I look forward to try harder to balance things out for the next jam.

Cool concept! I didn't make it all the way through, got stuck on one level, but I enjoyed the music a lot as well as the art. The dialogue was funny and some of the puzzles were challenging. Good job!

I love this! The art is wonderful in that it is simple, but carries a specific tone. The art and the music really drew me in, and I really got lost in the game. Controls are simple and feel good. I almost wanted to say the game needs a little more explanation, but after playing through and beating it I liked learning as I went along.  I just wish I got the story a little more by the end of it. I feel that your game is underrated and is one of the few that managed to keep me interested enough to finish. Nice job!

If you don't mind I would appreciate if you checked my game out, and maybe rate it. Am genuinely interested to hear what you think!

Thank you!!  Glad to hear you enjoyed it

Nice game! I think you really nailed the look and feel of the game. Really does feel like a peaceful walk.

This was pretty fun! I like the different moves and all of the moves feel very solid. The puzzles are fun. I'd just say the controls on the keyboard are a little hard to get used to and was frustrating, and the rewind mechanic is a little weird. I'll have to revisit when I have a controller.

Thank you! I really wanted to add the intro and probably should have added a super simple quick one because the story is a big part of this game, but didn't get to it. The full story is on the main page in my itch if you are interested. Will definitely update this game in the future to round it out a bit. Glad you liked the controls and the environment! (A lot of time went into that so I appreciate it)!

I had a lot of fun playing this! I really like the variety and designs of the enemies, and its cool to just be dropped into a boss fight hahah. Its painful, but a fun challenge to have your precious items stripped away from you. The pink guys were a little OP and it would have been nice to have tab bring you to a bigger map, I got lost a few times. Overall awesome job!

Thank you!!

I really appreciate all of the detail put in to the art! The art, the humor, and the overall feeling of the game are solid, and takes this simple concept and makes it interesting. I'll admit it got a little tedious waiting for some of the longer ones, maybe a 2x would be nice at your own risk? (unless I missed something), but the different problems that arise and the detail make up for it!

Thank you! I'm glad to hear it felt like an adventure! Hahah, a lot of attention went into making it that way. And thanks, I have to take a look at that as well as some other weird little bugs.

This game is a lot of fun! I played it a few times and it is very satisfying and cool. The rewind effect is very well done too and  super useful.

Thank you! I think I agree, a range attack might be nice to have.
