i wonder who downloaded this…

I tried doing a web build once and there was a load of errors to be fixed I didn’t have time for(i only had an hour because I had other things to do)

I only had an hour to finish it, so I really hope another dev picks up the slack!

godot engine 4.x btw(sorry godot 3 bois)

basic stuff like colour palettes and planning, not full blown assets like scripts or game art

im godot boi :D

FailJam community » FAQ · Created a new topic Can we Work in Groups?

Sure! Despite being a massive introvert, I think groups are amazing!

HOWEVER

Only one person should upload the submission

(and make sure to credit all contributors)

THERE IS NO THEME

but you do have to make a "Lose To Win" game!

My answer is a big fat

NO

as NSFW and inappropriate content would restrict the audience of the jam, and more importantly, it's disgusting. Also, if your game includes *mild* adult content(e.g. horror elements, controversial topics) then PLEASE mention it in your itch page!

Yes you do, that's the whole point of the jam.

Don't worry, there's no other theme besides that!

YES but...

as long as you give credit both in-game and on your itch page!

FailJam community » FAQ · Created a new topic Submitting your Game

Submit your game by creating a project and upload it to the jam! After the voting period starts, you cannot modify your game files for the voting period as that would be unfair.

Submissions for the jam open at:

October 22nd to October 29th at 11:59 PM

Voting ends in November 4th!

alr so something like “Collaborate with AI”(Wowie Jam 4.0 theme)?

Would the themes be major(like the whole theme of the game) or minor(an aspect of the game)?

And yes the bosses do do a ridiculous amount of damage.

I'll be suprised if anyone actually gets above 30 kills(meaning beaten 2 bosses).

I think Scratch is a good starting point, but you should move on to other programming languages after around 6 months of learning Scratch. Python is a good starting language after Scratch. Personally, I used Python for around another 5 months before moving on to something like Unity.

Perhaps it's already submitted to the jam?(you can't submit something twixe)

thanks!

I think it would be better if it wasn’t real inspect instead a “fake one”(so you could make it easier to understand)

very hard to play, cool idea but for people who dont know js(like me) this is bloody hell.

Amazing!!! Howd you do that in 3 days?

Timer is stressful, but the visuals and sound is very good! Amazing!

Thanks :)

Wow, this game is amazing! Hopefully you win the jam!(and me second hehe)

I made V3 mediafire since V2 was too buggy but realised I couldn't make an *actual* download after the deadline...so i did mediafire.(PLS DONT PLAY V2)

Fred's Neat Tunes is my jam game, it's a mediafire download since I had to update it after the deadline(Version 1.2 was extremely buggy, so I fixed it :D)

i used an AI text to speech generator to generate voice and nearly all the art was generated by AI or computer-generated!

it was collaborate with ai, not just ai

very fun, althugh there should be more of a clarification on what space does...took me quite a while to figure out.

Fun but very difficult. Interprets theme very nicely. Epic!

Very good and very intresting twist on the idea! Technically it's collaborate, but I'll give it a pass hehe.

Yes I added Rick lol

jesus how is this so good and polished??? this is so original as well! thye mechanics are really good. well done! i couldn't beat level 10 tho.

I was going to make it harder and add more levels, but then I realized I didn’t have enough time…

how i do that is by trying to make a huge list of ideas i want to do, then narrowing it down bit by bit, and even if you can't narrow it down to one just combine multiple of them for a really wacky idea. make sure the idea is:

A: Fun/Creative(if its another generic platformer then its not fun)

B: A fun theme(does not have to follow game jam theme)

C: Not too challenging to do(only 2 weeks boi)

but unlike game engines like Unity or Unreal, you have to do raycasting and all sorts of nonsense to make 3D in scratch!
