some improvements you can make to the game imo

- click anywhere to return is broken after dying to cops; it doesn't return you, running this game on windows

- give the brick thrower a startup animation immediately after the loading screen to stop you from throwing bricks if you were spamming bricks on the loading screen

- end game when you have 0 bricks and no bricks are bouncing

- possibly some sort of *limited* player control over bouncing bricks to add some way to make combos skillful, but the way it is now is also good since other (similar?) games like burrito bison also hinge around rng with limited player control. 

i think the game is fun with this amount of rng, you could tweak it to have less, but understand that some of the fun of the game is the rng and the chaos of those idiot moron pedestrians running under the shadow of the chad brick slinger

Very fun game, though I think there should be a ramping price for miners since you can get exponential growth of money by spamming miners. At some point in the game, you can end by spamming the exploding ticks because of your cash flow. Either that, or perhaps the AI of the knight should begin to prioritize miners at some point. It's still fun when you have a ton of money, since it's funny to watch the knight get swamped by imps.

Either way, it's a real fun game, love the art as well.

i havent used unity or unreal too much, but i think the time sink wasn't because of godot, more just that i was trying to figure stuff out. most of the time i spent was just trying to wrangle the physics of the car to not rotate on its z axis lol, but now i know how to do that. thanks for playing : )

you could tell a story through those emails maybe, and also make progressively more rules and also rules about handling attachments, like passports and visas or bombs

cool idea, wish the ai would path to the ball better or spread out and for them to be able to hit the ball with their heads, gets a bit monotonous after a while but fun idea though

i like the idea but it gets a bit monotonous, perhaps you can add events that force the player to change their priorities so that they don't just go in a circle feeding everyone. i'm not sure what energy does, but i like that idea of multiple resources. as for the framerate problems when there are lots of zombies, i think you can use gpu instancing to make lots of zombies with better performance, but i don't know how exactly to do that.

it was a bit confusing on how to play at first, especially what the numbers meant, but once you understand what the abilities do and what frenzy does, its pretty fun. 

its kinda cheesy since you can clog up the entrance with 2 wizards or a 1 meatball, maybe you could turn that into a real strat by making a maze level with multiple paths to the wall and entrances to the maze, so you have to choose where to spend your stamina. the frenzy meter is a neat thing to spice up the gameplay, but i just ended up spamming the hallway with meatballs and wizards, maybe you could add more "instant" abilites like the traps, but that do damage.

i found myself just waiting for wizards or meatballs when out of stamina, maybe you could add something to do while waiting for stamina, like maybe you can click on the adventurers to damage or kill them one by one. 

i like this game alot its a lot of fun, my high score was 6621

Cool game, maybe you could add a prediction system to see the ball's path in the future, but that sounds difficult to implement. I would say that maybe the physics could be tightened up but I kind of liked the physics since it made it more challenging with timing moving the platforms. I liked the idea and the levels each offer different neat challenges. Good job : )

Cool game, lots of potential, but wish it showed you your hitbox like in some other shmups/bullet hells. Also, I think the movement is a bit floaty, but very creative, good puzzles. Nice game : )

Doesn't every foundation float?

It's not that hard, you can fend sharks off by luring them to you and then stabbing them. Once you get three stabs in on the shark it will disappear and then another cycle begins. I think it takes 9 stabs to kill a shark.

Ah, upgrade the health not repair that's a great idea but in the end wouldn't it just add like 5 more seconds to get the shark off your foundation

Yea but i basically depend on sharks for my food source after that hour or so
