Running around trying to keep everyone topped off on ammo is quite an exciting and stressful time management puzzle, especially when zombies start to stack up around the perimeter. I think the game could benefit a lot from some simple quality-of-life improvements like explanations about what the different items do, a bit of polish to the movement, etc. Also, for a game which is all about running around and making deliveries, it would be fun if there was some cool risk-reward mechanics – like suppose you could carry multiple items at once, but it slows down your character because they’re carrying so much weight. This could add another layer of decision making to the game.
Good job!
Thank you! Nice idea about multiple objects and added weight! Will think about it)
I love the concept, it is great. Good job with zombie swarms. But I didn't get the purpose of the energy and boost. Especially, when the ammo is running out too fast and you just need to every soldier in the round.
Thanks!
Energy increases the fire speed and boost increases the damage per shot. The plan was to spawn stronger monsters, and those boosts should be handy to deal with them.
I’m not sure there’s a use for anything other than ammo right now, so I was kind of confused at first when I thought that those were health bars rather than ammo bars. The idea is interesting, but I wish there was more of a challenge to overcome than only the distance between you and each soldier.
Thank you! Hopefully will improve it in the near future.
this idea is cool i enjoyed it
Thank you :)
my gpu is burning up :0
i like the idea but it gets a bit monotonous, perhaps you can add events that force the player to change their priorities so that they don't just go in a circle feeding everyone. i'm not sure what energy does, but i like that idea of multiple resources. as for the framerate problems when there are lots of zombies, i think you can use gpu instancing to make lots of zombies with better performance, but i don't know how exactly to do that.
neat concept
Thank you for your feedback! Right now there is no limit on zombies, so yes it gets heavy, originally I was planning to add another enemies for variety and less overall quantity. I appreciate the idea with gpu instancing, I'll take a look. And will think about events as well.
Energy increases shooting speed :) And Boost adds Damage. Confusing, need to change something :)
Thanks! :)
