When you “Claim” the game, then go to the game’s home page and click on the “Download” button next to the “You own this game” message at the top, there is nothing to download.

You can only download the game when you first buy it, but if you come back after you will be unable to download it again, so it looks like you have something set up wrong.

Either change it to “Download only” during the sale, or enable the ability to download the game from the “claimed” page even after the sale is over.

Thanks, finally figured it out.

Didn't even think about using the thing to fix the thing so you can use it to change the thing.  😁 

So it was a construct that I didn't need to use in any previous level that I didn't even think of.

Catching:Gap seems impossible!  I must be missing something basic.

Nice game, I enjoyed it!

Is there a reason you allow access to Floor 3 - Normal in the demo but it is completely empty?  Doesn't seem to make much sense.  Also why have challenges for this floor in the Demo if you can't complete any of them?


Also, at one point in the game, it just went to a completely black screen (Windows 11, Firefox 150.0.2) with just the music playing.  Controls didn't seem to do anything.  Had to reload the site and then load from my savegame to continue.


Edit:

Was just playing Floor 2-3 and the monsters were on top of me and the game froze.  Only the music continued playhing.  The mouse pointer was not visible while over the game screen and I could not click on anything.  Had to reload the page and restore by savegame.  


Edit 2:

I converted essence to coins in the Currency Exchange.  It showed that my total coins went from 50 to 75 at the top, however when I went to the Shop, it still showed that I only had 50 coins, although it let me buy things that cost more than 50 coins and after I bought something the total was updated to reflect the correct value.

Very nice game, congratulations!  I finished with 60 out of 84 stars, then it started the bonus levels.  I assume the extra 24 stars are for those 8 bonus levels?  I got three stars on all levels but it never told me I got all 84 stars.

EDIT:  I figured it out, just paste it in the text field on the save page (overwrite the text that is there) and press "Save".  You can ignore the rest of this message, just leaving it here in case anyone else has this question.


I seem to have lost my save.  I used the button on the title screen to save my game yesterday, but when I reloaded the game today it started from the beginning.


I also saved a text copy of the same by copy and paste, is there someplace I can put this to get my old save game back?

It's awkward to use right click drag on my laptop with a touchpad.  Usually games use the two finger drag on the touchpad (which is the same as the vertical and horizontal scroll wheel on a mouse).  Is it possible to add that as an option?

Went in to the ???? areas and game froze.  Was almost done clearing all the areas, so disappointing...  Might restart again at some point, but not right now...


EDIT:  Restarted and now am Fully Mossed!  Great game!

Completed it without using any hints, the cave paintings-like ones were the hardest for me, but figured it out in the end (the third one threw me a bit).

Is there any way to save your progress?

It was on the itch version before it was labeled as a demo.

This occurred after a death with version 0.7.3.

 

It seems like the integrity value of augments goes to zero very quickly after getting hit.  Seems like this value should go down slowly over time, not drop so rapidly.  Perhaps I'm doing something wrong?

Just tried it and, yes, there is now one POI available.

I was just playing this version and used a save from the previous version, I prestiged back to sector 1 and played a while and then eventually ended up where there were no POIs to jump to, so I was stuck...

 

7.0 version - Auto salvage only works for a few scraps, you still have to manually click on them to collect them all, also when you do click on them, they react differently then they did previously, you have to keep clicking on them to harvest them completely, also the line that used to appear connecting to the scrap you were clicking on is instead displayed in a "random" location instead of connecting to the scrap.

Not sure if any of this was intentional or not.

FYI: The current 7.0 download includes Steamworks_x64.dll which makes the game not start (on machines wihtout Steam installed, I assume).  If I delete/rename that file, it starts fine.

I thought the keys were used to get past level 50?  Or were those not keys?

I had no problems with Firefox 144.0.2 on Win11.

I agree, all those "quality of life" features makes what could have been a very frustrating experience instead a very fun time.

P.S.  I like the hatchling's male pattern baldness.

In the PC version, I managed to get two objects to permanently float in the air (shadow is 1/2 inch below them), and I cannot do anything with them.  The hand does not change when hovered over them.  Unfortunately, one of them is the notebook/Almanac Alchemica, so I can't carry it around anymore.  I can still add pages to it by dropping them on the floating book and I can read it by standing close to it, but I cannot grab it or put it in my bag.  Is there anyway to fix this without restarting the game?


Also, I blew up many areas that revealed trap doors, but I have been unable to figure out what to do with those trap doors, I am unable to open them with my pointer/hand like I did with an earlier trap door, that was the only one I could open.

Good game concept but the timer is too short on some levels and you can get stuck with no way to escape except letting the timer expire.  There should at least be a way to restart the level.

I got an "Ad starting" countdown in the lower right corner and then the screen went black and then nothing... Can't continue the game...  No ad blocker enabled.


EDIT:  Fixed it in Firefox by disabling "Enhanced Tracking Protection".  But it was annoying that I had to restart the game every time and play through to that section until I found the correct thing to disable.

When you exit the first stall, and then type "behind", the first time you see a humanoid creature in the stall to the left, but then when you type "behind" again, it is no longer there.  What is that?

A.I. could have won, but instead prioritized blocking me from winning.

No!!!  YOU MUST CONFORM!!!

One word...buttons.

I like the game but only played the web version for 15 minutes and already got it to freeze up twice by just dragging the blocks at the wrong time.

I appear to be having this problem now with the web version, I guess it hasn't been fixed?

Yes, using the web version here on itch, and cannot get rid of him, and also could not add the mime afterwards, as well as not able to control Fito in the battles, it just skips him.

Is there any difference later in the game between "defeating" Pinocchio with the bra or the pan?

I see you entered your game in Pixel Jam!  Nice!  Good luck!!  I guess it's too late for the Jam, but I just wanted to remind you that there is still a bug in the current version (at least for me).


Start the game, then walk out and get killed by something, then select "Main Menu".  Instead of going to the main menu it just exits the program.  Also, selecting "Exit" does nothing.

So it looks like the "Main Menu" option does what "Exit" should, and the "Exit" option does nothing.


Again, good luck in Pixel Jam!!!  I am sure your game will do very well!

Hmm. not working for me.


One of the guys in the game talks about the "frontier" which I assume is north of the NW wall, is it possible to go there, or is that not in the game?

Ah, so there are hidden caves.  I only knew about the passage with the cracks in the wall that you open with the grenade.


So I got the bone, but using "e" on the dog house does nothing new.  How do I give the bone?

Cave by the cemetery?  I looked all around the cemetery (which drones seem to like way too much) and can't find what you mean.  Is it a hidden cave or one of the regular "indoor" areas?

The after-death change is not working for me, or at least I am still inadvertently selecting one of the options on the menu when I was in a firefight just before dying.  Also, like I said, selecting the "Main menu" option results in the program exiting/crashing now (it didn't on the older version).

That's too bad about having to remove those elements from the game, it makes it a little confusing not knowing if you missed something or not, but at least now I know.  :-)  Did you also remove the bone/doghouse thing?  I saw that in the ALPHA video of the game.


Gameplay is king, and I think you've done a great job!  If you can make a small, efficient game like this that packs as much gameplay as this does, you are doing it right.
