Thank you for playing, and you are correct! The stalactites fall within 160 units of the player's location a few moments ago.

LONG story

What a great tagline, I should've used it for this page! That idea sounds like a really creative way to progressively make the game harder, I wish I thought of that. Thank you for your feedback

Thank you for playing! Also, it's surprisingly simple. I just made 2 parallax background nodes  (one for foreground, one for background), with a few layers and set it to repeat. Then, in my script, I constantly decremented the x axis offset, and Godot did the rest.

Thanks!

Thank you for your feedback! Looking back at it, maybe I should have added some extra indication to the stalactites, like a white outline.

Thank you for playing!

I liked the art and music a lot, and the controls felt good. The different weed effects add a lot to the game too. I managed to get to 122.

I think the growth happened a bit too slowly for the game to be challenging, but the controls were intuitive and I liked the animations a lot. Good job!

Thanks!

This is a really fun game! It fit the theme well and I like the art style and music a lot. The mechanics feel original and allow for a lot of strategy once you get the hang of it, nice job!

Pretty fun game! The controls were really intuitive and I didn't have any trouble understanding what I was meant to do. It took me a few tries to collect all the keys and win in time, and it was just the right level of challenging to be engaging. Nice job!

I like simulation games like these a lot. I think it fit the theme really well and is a clever way to include the wild cards too. I'd recommend adding some kind of visual to display the amount of healthy/infected people because it can be hard to envision big numbers just by themselves.

I found myself losing a lot due to mistrust, so my strategy changed to always invest as much as I can into advertising, and then the game got a lot more fun because I got more funds. The top headline/new variants were nice features to contrast all the numbers. Good job!

I had a lot of fun playing this! After my first playthrough I thought that the stones were pretty useless/underpowered and the same thing about the axe, and didn't see much point in them. I thought the best strategy was to just focus apples and axe when I needed to. Then, I tried to tame the uncontrollable forest.

Sadly, this was taken moments before disaster as the ghost popped out of a bush and killed me.  The camouflaged wildcard was used really well here too, as I lost track of the ghost a bunch and found myself running for my life. Good job, I really liked this game!

This was a cute game. The controls were responsive and it felt great to move around with, and I think it fit the theme well! It felt polished and I like how you designed everything with the player's size in mind, but I would've liked to have a few more levels.

I had a lot of fun playing this! The music is awesome and it's really easy to get hooked on the gameplay. It's got the perfect balance between familiarity and originality, making it really easy to pick up. Good job!

Thanks for playing!

Beautiful game with a fun mechanic!

Very nicely done! I loved the art style and level design a lot. You made a bunch of interesting puzzles and it was easy to stay engaged for the whole time. The sound effects were crisp and the music was a great fit too, even though it cut out somewhere along the way. I think it fit the theme really well and I love the whole "corporation" feel. Good job!

Thanks for playing! And yeah, even with all the upgrades it's hard to finish those last few waves if you get bad RNG

Thanks for playing and thanks for all your feedback! :)

Yeah, I agree. I think that an option like that definitely could improve the game, and if I thought about that during the gamejam I would've implemented it. Thanks for playing! :)

Thanks for playing! And yeah, that's a really good idea. I might experiment with trying to get a game like this to work on mobile in the future because I've never worked with mobile before and I think it would be convenient to play on those devices like you mentioned.

Great job! I really liked this :)

I'm impressed- this was a very polished game, especially knowing that everything for this game was made by you in 3 days! I liked the player death effect and the movement controls made this game feel a lot more unique as well. Good job!

The level design for this game was fantastic. I'm surprised you were able to make so many entertaining puzzles with such a simple mechanic. Good job!

Very quick, solid, fun game. I really liked how the sound effects, screen shake, and graphics all changed when the rage meter was filled up. All of that made the game feel a lot more polished and interesting to play. Great job!

Cool game! I think this fit the theme really well and it was fun to play. The world really felt massive compared to the player, too.

Wow, uh... This was interesting! I really liked this game and was not expecting that at all, extra points for creativity. Great job!

Pretty fun! Lots of cool puzzles

Yeah, looking back at it I could have made them more impactful. Thanks for your comment!

Thank you for your feedback!

Damn, I wish I thought of that shop idea while I was making it! Thanks for your feedback, it helps me a lot! :)

Nice game! It was short and enjoyable. The bar at the bottom was definitely a smart addition, and the music was cool too.

Very impressive for a game that just took 12 hours. It is extremely short, but I think it's also polished well and the jumping mechanics are very satisfying to use. It fits the theme very well, but at the same time it doesn't seem to be too much of an original take on it.  The music was awesome.

The design for this was really cute and the game was really relaxing to play :). The mechanics worked well for the theme as well, the only suggestion that I have is to make the slime move faster.

Very creative little game! It was fun and quick to play through and I think the character dialogue adds a lot.

It's amazing how many entertaining puzzles you could put into this small game. Great job!
