Thank you so much! I have to say, I absolutely loved your energy! 😄

I can already see where I messed up. There's a bug that allows the cutscene to play even if the player doesn't have the noodles in their inventory.

If you'd like to give it another try, lock on to an enemy with the middle mouse button and dash with Ctrl. (You can only dash while locked on.)

I'll definitely fix this in the next iteration. Thanks again for taking the time to play and record your experience!

Also, almost all of the art is made by me. I do use some free assets, but I heavily modify them to fit the game's world and style.

You also mentioned things like the camera and the main character. I'll definitely think about those. I'm trying to make every asset tell a small story and contribute to a larger one. Most players probably won't consciously notice that, but it's still something that's very important to me.

Hi!

I've been working on a surreal third-person action adventure called RockConcert.

The demo is around 30–40 minutes long, but even feedback from the first 15 minutes would be incredibly helpful.

I'm mainly looking for feedback on:

  • Is the atmosphere interesting?
  • Is the beginning engaging?
  • Is it clear what the player should do?
  • Does the combat feel worth expanding?

I'm especially interested in honest criticism rather than compliments.

Thank You!

Rock Concert is a surreal third-person adventure game currently in development.

You play as Mei, a young musician trying to reach a concert in a world where people are slowly being forgotten.

One of the game's core ideas are Manifestations – physical forms created from human emotions and memories.

Current demo includes:

- exploration

- environmental puzzles

- melee combat

- NPC interactions

- manifestations

- multiple interconnected locations

I'm mainly looking for feedback about:

- navigation

- puzzle readability

- atmosphere

- pacing

- bugs and technical issues

Approximate playtime:

30–60 minutes

Demo:

Thanks!

nice concept

The controls are great actually 😄
I only meant that I’d love a bit more storytelling through the environments and visuals.

I like it! The narrator made me smile a few times 😄 The only thing I’m missing is maybe a bit more storytelling through the visuals — and I’m not saying the visuals are bad!

Also, the feeling of controlling the ball has that very specific kind of frustration, like learning a new trick.

This remainds me of Bounce Tales!

I don’t have an answer either, just came here for moral support.

hmm the gameplayvideo didnt attach so i am posting it here

Hi! I’m building a solo project inspired by the things I miss in modern games. It’s experimental, atmospheric and dreamlike.

I’m trying to create a surreal experience where everything has meaning behind it — not weirdness just for the sake of being weird :)
