Thanks for the detailed investigation! This helped me identify the issue. I’ve fixed it, and the fix will be included in the Steam demo, along with many other improvements and new features

Hi, thanks :)
I’m trying to reproduce the issue.
If I understand correctly, your factory is running in a steady state, but the energy surplus is slowly decreasing. Is that right?
Did you play in the brower or downloaded the game?
Roughly how long does it take for the surplus to drop by 0.01?
During that time, did you avoid switching machines on or off?
And did you avoid digging as well?
Hi, I am a solo game dev and currently looking for playtesters for my passion project Flow Factory.
It's an automation game where physics and gravity play a key role – think Factorio meets Crazy Machines.
It would mean the world to me if you spared a few minutes to try it. Start playing instantly in browser: https://smuie.itch.io/flow-factory-alpha
Afterwards, you are invited to fill this survey or join my Discord to share your thoughts and shape the future of the game. Thanks so much :)
In my solo dev project Flow Factory, resources don’t follow belts – they follow gravity (don’t worry, belts are still in).
It would mean the world to me if you spared a few minutes to try it and share your thoughts with me. You can play for free directly in your browser: https://smuie.itch.io/flow-factory-alpha
