The crossover is a separate side story in both games! It is updated in its own schedule on both games, but separately from either game's main story. It's supposed to be small and not too long. The updates will keep coming on both sides, and it should finish after a few of them.
Both Shelter and Demons Within have their own game story that is bigger and unrelated to the crossover.

Is there a specific Renpy version requirement or something to use it? I decided to try it out, added the .rpys to my project, and when starting,g I get the following error right away:

I'm not entirely sure if it's something on my end or if I'm missing anything, but I thought I'd ask if that's okay!

This is hard to say! I've been writing stories for years before I started Demons Within, and this visual novel is just a new, cooler way to tell a story for me. :)
If I could say I have any inspirations, it would perhaps be Shelter since following its creation and development was definitely what pushed me into telling a story in a visual novel format myself as well!

What do you mean by the choice of not influencing? In most instances of influences, there is already the option of just continuing the text forward and not interfering, which would be the choice of not influencing. As the game continues, the choices might expand a little, but too many choices often lead to too much branching and ripples into even more branching in the future, so I do my best to give choices while also keeping the story concise. It is still mostly a linear story after all.

I've received more reports and found a bug around this part related to the warnings about the bad ending when playing on Android. Maybe that was the case?
At any rate, I already worked on a fix for this in case it happens. There's a point there where you have to infuse and tapping with the finger doesn't seem to work. Holding the finger down on the wheel seems to work, but that's not supposed to be that way! Maybe try that if you're still stuck!
We're very close to the public release of the new update (likely next week), so I'll ship that fix with that. Sorry for the inconvenience!
Sorry! I announced in the devlog for version 11's Patreon release that from now on, the public version of the previous version will be released at roughly the same time as the new Patreon version comes out! Therefore, version 11 will become public once version 12 comes out. It's in the works right now!

I'm glad that Patreon came out with the feature of gifting subs that allowed this to happen. I think fan art is a win for everyone. It's creativity expressed from inspiration that people make out of enjoyment, it helps inspire me greatly to create more content, and all the other fans love to see it too! Super cool win-win-win!

Very likely! As I stated on X and Discord, I'm sending the rewards retroactively to everyone who did fanart in the last... roughly two weeks! Basically everyone who posted one after the release of Update 11 on Patreon and whose fanart is now queued to be featured in the credits of the upcoming Update 12 will still get the rewards retroactively!
I'm just taking the time to reach out to everyone to give it to them!

As for the OST, unfortunately, we don't have that available anywhere yet as we're still working on improving the game's music more and more! Eventually though, I'd love to have it available! I'll make sure to announce it everywhere, Itch included, when that happens!

That's good! Some of the events in Update 10 unlock automatically. This likely happens because of the plugin you mentioned that translated the game. Since the clickable things to unlock in the Memorium are part of the text and I'm guessing that this plugin ends up removing the links, therefore making them unclickable.
Maybe try going through the game without this plugin and you will see some text highlighted in pink sometimes. Those are the clickable memories that unlock them in the Memorium once seen.
