Hello !

im a godot game dev,

Behind the News (placeholder title) The main scene is a TV presenter sitting at a desk. Behind them there’s a big screen that changes depending on what the player picks. Every so often the player gets 3 options for what story to show: Tragic story → disasters, violence, scandals Propaganda / spin → twisted truths, political agendas Positive story → good news, kindness, progress After the player chooses, the TV screen shows that story. The world outside reacts, and you can see it slowly changing on the screen: tragic → fear, riots, more cops/military propaganda → obedience, dystopia vibes, crushed protests positive → peace, brighter, people helping each other Each choice pushes the “mood” of the world: fear / control / hope / apathy. At the end, depending on the mix, you get different endings: dystopia (too much fear + control) hopeful (mostly positive) chaotic collapse (random mess of stories, no direction),

The presenter should always look calm and smiling no matter what, even if the news is horrible (kind of satirical). The background changes a bit each round, showing the world getting darker, brighter, more surreal, etc. (shadows creeping in, flowers blooming, cracks spreading, etc.). The whole thing should be short and replayable, like an experiment. The idea is the player realizes: “whatever I choose to show ends up shaping the world.”

sorry that you lost your phone but sounds good i texted you on bluesky!

super nice , i like your art and i think it can add some mystery to the game, my discord: is " skieyess " if you wanna join me , we can go about the project nicely and easily no need to rush it

yeah all of them, the art style can be pixel art or just normal 2d , even 3d would be better but thats a lot of work for just one person to make  so im saying 2d would be better since i dont wanna put pressure that much

Hi!
I’m using Godot to make games, and I have this idea for a simple Radio/TV-style game. The art will be really minimal, and I’m looking for someone to team up with as friends and collaborators.

We can decide together whether the game will be free or paid, and if it’s paid, we’ll do revenue sharing.

If you’re interested, reply with your Discord!

i mean cool but like it took 20s
