Ah, yeah, gotcha. I’m glad you were able to get it. I’ll see about making it a bit easier

I’ll look into it.

Hi. So I wasn’t able to replicate this issue, though I did notice a small error that lets you bypass the last scene. That’ll be fixed in the next release. It should be the light at the bottom of the most adult looking section. If you’ve definitely tried that light, please let me know what you did before that. I haven’t found any conflicts, but I could be missing something.

No problem! Happy to help!

There are two possible ways to answer that question, so I’ll give both:

1. If you are talking about how to literally get around and advance through the area to completion, you need to go to the shiny spots in the right order. When you first enter, it gives you some dialogue. That dialogue hints at which location on the map that you need to go to. Once you’ve gone to the correct location, you’ll get new dialogue. This pattern repeats until you are taken to the other end of the puzzle where you can enter the ritual circle.

2. If you are trying to get through the plot to get the boss fight, you need to do the self improvement quest 3 times.

Let me know if you are still having trouble.

Hiya. Yes there’s more content in the strip club. You need to attend the strip show with more than 500 gold and have an addiction to “adult bits” 5 or greater. That score raises by 1 when you attend the show, choose love from the fortune teller in the village, and lose to certain enemies.

You can use the drugs in battle right now. They also impact a separate addiction stat that has some implications, such as unlocking the dealer class and scaling the damage of certain attacks. They don’t have any specific scenes really though. Possibly in a future update.

Thanks for playing and I’m really glad you like it!

Awesome! I’m glad we figured out what was going on and I appreciate your patience. These first few updates involve a lot of adding to the mechanics, where a clean save might be necessary. The background stuff is mostly implemented at this point though so hopefully this should be less of a concern in future updates. Thanks for playing!

The game counts 2 hrs in game time every 15 seconds, starting at the beginning of the day period. So the rotation is 1:15 of day, 0:15 sunset, 1:15 night, 0:15 dawn. That means the day cycles once every 3 minutes if you just stand in place. I tested this again and even timed it so I know it’s working on my end. I’m guess the problem lies with using the old file, since the game initializes the clock during the opening scene.

Keep in mind that the 15 second section resets if you move between maps (I don’t have a fix for that right now) so you can rush through maps and trick the timer a bit. I checked with the enemies though, they don’t seem to have the same issue, though the time doesn’t progress during the fight.

Try a new save and stand outside for a minute and a half, see if there’s any change. If not let me know and I’ll look harder. If it does work and other people are having similar issues, I could consider reducing the time for a rotation.

Looks like it was a little bugged. It still technically works, but it would reset when you moved locations, making it much harder to pass time than it should be. I just made a fix, so it should work properly now.

What do ya know, this does work! Thanks for posting!

Awesome! I don’t think I did anything that would affect the settings menu, but I’m really glad you got it working. I hope you enjoy the new content!

Fixed!

Hi, are you running on a virtual machine? It looks like that might be the issue, so I would start there. You could try running it as an administrator as well, that might work. I’ll be honest, this is not my area of expertise, but I’ll take a look. If you happen to resolve it on your own, please let me know here  so the fix can be posted.

Hi, unfortunately, it currently can’t go into full screen as that’s a limitation of the software. I’m looking into some solutions for later releases, but I can’t make any promises.

Awesome! That’s really great of you to do and much appreciated. I probably won’t do a big fix for just typos, but I’ll have the changed for the next release!

Hey, first off, thanks so much for compiling these, the screenshots are super helpful and I really appreciate you bringing these issues to my attention.

Regarding dialogue boxes, they aren’t bugged per se, but rpg maker handles them really weird so it’s hard to tell when something is being cut off. I’ll fix that line but if you see others, let me know.

Also, Buck’s cabin isn’t meant to be a respawn. I generally wanted to keep those relegated to populace areas.

I’ll work on going through these bugs and getting a big fix out. Again, I really appreciate you bringing these to my attention.

Aw, that’s so sweet. I’m glad you’re having fun!

Aw, that’s so sweet! The next update should be reasonably soon. I took a little time off for the holidays and have been in the midst of some unrelated (and less fun) projects so I’ve been a little delayed so it’s always appreciated to get some positive reinforcement.

As far as additional art goes, honestly, I’ll consider it. Art is by far the most time consuming portion of developing this game and I’m still very much learning it. That said, I also like doing the art for my own sense of accomplishment. I do love some collaboration though, so I’ll think it over.

The what? Do you mean Buck? That depends on where you are in his storyline. Usually in the mines, but his last bit is outside of the entrance by the cliff.

The well summoning isn’t implemented yet, it’s part of a later story. The summit requires one of each type of crystal from the mines (there are 3).

Hey, could you clarify what you mean by no sex scenes? If you are talking about animated or drawn scenes, then you’re right. I’d like to add more, but those take a lot of work. If you are just talking about written scenes, there are a few. Not a ton, but not zero, mostly at the university. Damien will for sure be a recurring character and will definitely have more sex scenes at some point. The mayor also has an extended storyline planned, but won’t have as much content. Long story short, there will be more penetration scenes, but the game is still in early development. Glad to hear you enjoyed it and that you liked my other game as well!

Awesome, thanks for the reply. It's the largest image file and the most complex right now, so I wonder if the game is just sometimes having a bit trouble with it in some cases.

Yay! Ok, I guess it just needed to be imported again? I'll take it.

You will need all three crystals (purple, blue, and orange).

Fixed, it was adding the wrong card!

Someone else is having this issue as well, so I know it's not on your end. The issue that I'm having is that I can't replicate the error so I don't know what's going on. I've tried running in the extracted version of the game, buying it through normal means and it shows up just fine, no problems. I tried importing the image again, so give it a try again with the newest version. A few questions; Are you able to meet the angel at the top of the mountain and have the image work fine? Are you on PC or another system? Are the other cards working?

The part where he's looking out over the cliff is the last bit of his story you can access now. He'll be a returning character who will show up in future updates though, so I'm glad you are interested in more of his story. You can gather crystals from three of the large crystal deposits in the cave. There is one orange one that doesn't supply any, this was a mistake on my part, so I'll fix that in the next patch, but you can still collect all the requisite crystals (you are correct, they are used at the summit). There is a large deposit of blue crystals at the top of the cave, far right, an orange deposit in the right middle across a bridge, and a purple deposit down a rope at the bottom left. Hope this helps.

Thanks for letting me know, should be fixed now.

So they're not a recurring members in the sense that they don't join your team and travel with you, but both the man you meet in the mining hut and the summon on top of the mountain will likely appear again throughout the game.

I wasn't able to replicate this issue. I wonder if the image file was somehow corrupted? It might work if you try it with the new upload. I'd also like to know if it only happened to you or to others as well.

Should be fixed now, thanks for letting me know.

Welp, I made one of the most dumb mistakes possible. A little look behind the curtain, I work on different areas ahead of time, so a fair amount of planned areas already exist in the game, but are hidden behind event switches. Initially, the old campus was going to be part of a later release but I decided it had enough content ready for the first release. When I play tested, however, I turn the switch on so I can explore more of the map, so I failed to realize my mistake. Sorry about that!

Nevermind! I figured it out! There was a conflict if you did tutoring before taking the classes. I’ll put out a fix briefly!

Hm, I haven’t been able to replicate your issue, which probably means that there is some trigger variable that wasn’t properly shut off somewhere. Do you happen to remember which class and what you had done before attending?

He moves locations between tasks. He's in the gym after you make his bed.

The sign will be a marker for an area that’s not completed yet. I just wrote a content guide so you can see if you missed anything. Could you clarify the problem you are having with Xavier?

I appreciate you playing!

Hi all,

It seems like some people are hitting content limits and are confused about what to do next, so I’m going to do my best to cover the available content here.

Home Village:

- Read the book in your house.

- Look in Damien’s mirror.

- Go to sleep in Damien’s bed while drunk.

- Explore the well bottom. 3 possible enemies currently.

- get your fortune read.

- get drunk and play a drinking game with the local drunk.

- get drunk and sleep in the mayor’s bed.

- get really drunk and thrown into a cell to sleep it off.

- Complete Jay’s fetch quest (he gives hints where to find the scrolls) then talk to him again about his research to gain access to the university.

The University:

- Talk to the headmaster to enroll. There are three different options which will change your character class upon completion. Each class has a different build and combat style. You can pay a fee to the headmaster to take the other courses if you would like to reclassify. Note that all of the main classes play out differently and have different storylines.

- Supplemental classes are available in the two smaller classrooms. They mostly just provide lore, but there’s a little kink in there.

- Sign up for some work or to be tutored by talking to the librarian.

- Complete Xavier’s questline (last bit is getting his package. If you use the package before delivering it to him, you get a game over. Additionally, he’s planned to be a recurring character and while it’s not implemented now, choices you make with him will change later interactions.)

- Explore the old university under the building (3 enemies currently)

Some notes on content that isn’t available yet:

- When you see something for a summoning, this is usually going to be summoning an optional “Boss” to fight (though some are exceptions to this). Most areas with enemies will have these. Bosses are intended to be fought at the level cap of 10, and given that the current areas are meant to be explored at level 1-3, I felt it best not to worry about implementing those yet.

- You’ll definitely notice a few things in both maps, such as the gym, where you can’t do a ton yet. I plan on expanding upon these moving forward and I don’t consider any map complete at this point. Much of these questlines will need me to finish additional content first. As the game expands, I generally want to encourage players coming back to old areas.

Thanks for playing! I’m really glad people have been enjoying and I’m working hard on the next release. I’m always happy to answer questions!

Fixed the lab assistant job and the tutor loop. Xavier (the rich roommate) can be found in the bathroom of the gym, let me know if you still can't find him, he appeared for me but there could still be an error.

Looks like there was an event layering issue. Released a bug fix. You should be able to find them by checking the shelves, though it might take some searching.

The different classes should be fixed now! Thanks for pointing that out. I wasn't able to replicate scaling the walls though but let me know if it keeps happening.
