I can relate, I'm pretty clueless when it comes to advertising my games!

In my opinion, making games is fun, but marketing them is a total headache.

Congrats on your first release!

It's always exciting to publish a new game!

Hello! Yesterday I released a new game, Super Combo Stomp!!

Super Combo Stomp is a difficult game about shifting gravity to stomp your enemies and score points!

The game features a level editor, alongside the ability to import and play custom levels!

Here is the trailer for the game:

The game costs $1.99 USD, but there is a free demo available so you can try out the game before buying it.

That's all I wanted to say, happy holidays and thanks for reading!

For now I'll probably assume that while the pages are still public it's okay to link to them from my website and other accounts.

It might be a bit harder for my games to be discovered, but I'm glad the pages are still accessable via URL.

Apologies again, but I have one more question:

Is it okay to continue to advertise and share links to my games while they are unindexed, or should I warn people to avoid them until I fix whatever had them deindexed?

Thanks again for your patience.

No worries! I'm sure support will let me know why they were deindexed when they respond.

Thanks for the help!

Sorry to bother you, but I was wondering if you knew what warranted a page to be deindexed. I'm trying to figure out what I've done wrong so I can try to fix it and prevent it from happening in the future.

If you could give me a quick list of things that may be the cause of a page being deindexed, that would be really helpful!

Thank you for the reply! I emailed support a while ago and got no response. I was worried that my message maybe somehow got lost or overlooked, but I guess I'll just be patient and wait.

Hello! I'm here to see if anyone knows why my account and games have become unindexed from Itch.io.

My games and account were indexed for a while after publishing them, but now all of a sudden they are no longer indexed.

Currently I have 2 games published, "CULLER 2" and "Duck and Cover 2". I read the docs and understand why "CULLER 2" may be unindexed (low quality page, no screenshots), but I still don't know why "Duck and Cover 2" as well as my account are unindexed.

If anyone knows why my games and account may be unindexed, please let me know so I can fix the issue!

These are my newest games, I'm pretty proud of them!

Duck and Cover 2

Duck and Cover 2 is a 1-4 player platformer game about dodging falling rockets and their explosions.

It has multiplayer co-op modes as well as versus modes!

CULLER 2

CULLER 2 is a shoot-em-up game where you can only shoot enemies that are the same colour as you.

You'll have to quickly swap colours to keep up your combo and score points!

Very nice beta!

The gameplay is challenging yet fun, and the graphics have a very appealing colour scheme.

Looking forward to the final result!

I recently released a new game, Duck and Cover 2!

Duck and Cover 2 is a frantic and chaotic platformer game for 1-4 players.

Try to earn high scores in the classic or gauntlet mode with co-op, or fight for victory in versus mode!

The game features randomly generated levels and a custom mode that lets you alter the game with over 20 unique modifiers!

Check it out here:

Below are some in-game screenshots:

That's a good idea. It was a bit confusing to figure out what the gear collectables did!

Very nice game!

The rhythm mechanic made the fights seem like a form of dancing.

Good job!

Fantastic game!

The upgrade mechanics were great, and the enemy variety was really fun.

Nice job!

Very fun little game! Nice job!

Very fun game with excellent graphics!
