WOW, this is really good, i enjoyed the entire game!

that's weird, there is no other way to rotate the camera other than the mouse or the left/right arrow keys? can you provide a video? also thanks!

simple but fun game, i like it

this is a really fun game, really cool idea

fun game, i like it

as far as i know, i think it does

i think a top down view would be harder to design levels for, but its most definitely easier to understand

i couldn't move and then got randomly fired?

this is really cool and well made within 48 hours! its also pretty fun, but unfortunately i couldn't finish it because of a checkpoint that doesn't work, and i cant get past that part because of lag. other than that this is awesome

its a fun game, and the idea is also pretty cool. the art is also really good. i did find a few bugs though, and some levels can also be easily finished with the bugs

this game is simple and fun, and i really like the idea of the scale pads, but the difficulty really ramps up at level 6, i also couldn't figure out on how to solve level 7. i also found lots of bugs. great game though

thanks! the reason why you cant look up and down is because the transition of switching to a different dimension wouldn't look right. i also think you meant the 4th level and not the 3rd, since that level is actually not that hard. i only had 2 hours left so the last 2 levels are pretty bad.

huh why wont the image appear

poor female got stuck in trees

my population was 74100258, nice game

no it isn't

aw man :(

its a pretty fun game and well made for a recreation. my highest highscore is 73

since my laptop doesn't have a GPU and uses the CPU integrated graphics instead, i had to launch the game with

"GiraffeRun.exe" --rendering-driver opengl3

and that caused some problems such as the grass disappearing, a black line appearing on the ui, the game lagging for a bit at the start, etc.

other than that it's a pretty fun game, the assets and stuff are really well made. i do have a few suggestions though that could make the game better:

  1. start off with about 1-2 bombs being spawned per second, and the amount gets slowly increased. right now it gets increased too fast
  2. start off with the giraffe walking at the regular speed, and then starts to gradually run faster
  3. decrease the bomb's hitbox, sometimes i still get hurt even if the giraffe's head isn't touching the bomb

and that's about it, i like the game

this game actually has serious potential, this is really fun. i like how you just throw the snail towards buttons to open things up. i really like this game, those areas that block the heart is really smart

pretty nice game, i like the movement and the enemies. the game does seem to lag in the browser, but that's probably my browser not really handling games well in linux. there also two bugs where I cant restart with R and that it sometimes gets stuck while loading the game. would be also nice if I was able to go down faster with the down arrow key or S key. also it would be nice to have a main menu, its a bit weird having the game immediately start after loading. other than that I like the game, nice job!

thanks!

i could make the submarine point to the cursor, seems a bit slow though. thanks for rating though!

thanks!

thanks! i tried making the maps as fast as possible because i didn’t have a lot of time, so it’s a bit scuffed. i’ll try out your game later

the whale was supposed to be a moving platform, also i could make a more update version of this game. thanks for rating this game though!

didn’t really have a lot of time though, but thanks! i’ll check out your game later

its like the submarine trying to go to the surface of the water, makes it a bit harder to move which keeps the difficulty at medium. thanks for rating!

thanks!

i could try making the submarine point to the mouse, seems a bit slow though

didn’t have a lot of time left so i couldn’t really fix that. thanks for rating though!

i think it would be nicer to make the submarine point to the mouse, that seems a bit slow though

i think it’s because i always kept increasing the player velocity even though it’s being blocked by walls

i didn’t have a lot of time left, also had a lot to do so i couldn’t really make much

the game is pretty good, i like the music and pixel art but there aren’t that much checkpoints and mostly feels frustrating when you die and then teleport way back. you could also made the camera view bigger so that you can see what’s nearby you. but it’s a pretty good game and it was mostly fun

it allows you to create more than 10 cloud variables, but they wont be shared across the players and only the first 10 is used. but you can use the other unused cloud variables for things like local storage and saving data on the computer

good game but i think the first enemy is a bit cheating, it can move the gun and itself faster than me

thank you! I do tend to set the volume of my speaker low and high but what do you mean by hammering the animation? Not really good at English since its my second language.

i like the voices and options, it fits the theme and a really great game

thank you! im not really great at coming up ideas so this is all I had.

i was thinking of making the graphics a simple black and white style, without pixel-art to stand out a little bit. since this is my first gamejam the second gamejam could have more graphics

fun game and concept but there are bugs where i don't immediately spawn on death in the location where i saved by pressing L and that the player respawns before the needle getting in animation begins.
