How does your game fit the theme?
In this game, you play as a snail who must dive to the depths of the ocean to save his only true love! One problem though… a snail cannot dive that deep… fear not, as the power of LOVE can do anything, including denying the laws of physics! Use your heart (quite litterally), to find and collect bubbles which allow you to dive deeper and rescue your true love.

Did you write all the code and made all the assets from scratch?
All assets were created from two devs, including sprites, animations, coding, and the game, excluding some help from chat gpt for coding, and sound samples, which were taken and edited from zapsplat.

this game actually has serious potential, this is really fun. i like how you just throw the snail towards buttons to open things up. i really like this game, those areas that block the heart is really smart

Very cool game in every aspect. Core game mechanics + quality level design combo especially, but everything else is also on point.

Great mechanics, audio, and design! Though some of the levels were a bit frustrating, the gameplay itself sure is interesting to play! Good job!

I enjoyed this. I like how it’s a physics-based puzzler and the main mechanic of pulling the snail around is interesting. I liked that new mechanics were introduced like the one-way platforms, currents, and the “lava” which helped keep things fresh. Some of the later levels were pretty challenging. I also liked the background art and music.

I had a problem in level 5 where the camera wasn’t zoomed out enough. I wasn’t sure if this was intentional because there’s a blue circle that zooms out the camera, so I wasn’t sure if that was meant to be part of the challenge. Either way, it made playing the level awkward.

Congrats, this was the first game to make me audibly swear at it this jam lmao. The idea is cool, the graphics and sound design are really good, and the ice mechanic is really neat, but it does have its points of being super frustrating. There were too many times where the snail was off screen and I just had to hope I didn't hit a red zone while I couldn't see myself, and too many times the heart would end up off screen and drop connection, killing me. Also would have been much better off imo just setting a checkpoint at the boss rather than making you close the whole game to try again. Overall it was a really well designed cute rage game with some frustrating hiccups.

This was a really impressive game. I love the unusual way that you have to guide the snail through each level and the different functions of each coloured zone. It really added another level to the difficulty and my enjoyment of the game! Good luck and I hope you win! This was definitely one of my favourites to play. :D

I really like the idea of using a heart to guide the snail and the mechanics work really well with the level design, however there are times where the camera is not zoomed out enough meaning that I couldn't see the heart or any obstacles in the way.

Fixed! there was a bug where i put in the wrong dimensions for the unity project, but that has been fixed. Thanks for your feedback!

Very unique concept! I like how each level transitioned into one another. The camera that zooms in and out on one of the later levels was very nauseating though.

The swinging mechanic seems a bit stiff. Maybe making it so the speed depends on how far it is would help that. The game is also really difficult for a jam entry - especially the later levels. At least level selection helps. Music was a nice touch. Also adding some more graphics would have been nice if you had more time. The experience was nice.

The idea was quite creative and it was really fun

Really nice idea! I thought it was just an easy game but then I played the later levels and its actually pretty challenging

I really don't like the camera if you're going for a static camera at lest you should make sure that it zooms out to capture where the player is if you're making levels that are not contained in standard zoom, also if you want to develop levels quickly instead of using non textured rectangles you could use a tilesets.

Super satisfying and interesting!

This game was fun and rage inducing at the same time.

it has speedrunning potential, reminds me of a cool math game.

Good Job! ;)
