I really appreciate this in depth feedback! Also as the composer I’m stoked you like the music. I pretty much agree with you on everything you said. We all agreed that we could have maybe just axed the side scroller element, and if we’d had more time we’d try to up the stakes on the challenges. The boss segment is thanks to our rad artist @boisterousnatur - he nailed that transformation! Thanks so much for taking the time to play and rate our game!

Thank you! I just played Necro, I really loved  your art style and music!

Thanks so much! If we had more time, we definitely would have added some aspects to make it more challenging. Really glad you liked it!

This is great feedback, thanks Peirrot! We were mostly excited about the idea of combining a sidescroller with a battle style still frame, but we definitely could have given the sidescroller aspect more challenges. Glad you like the sounds!

Thank you!

Thank you! Was super great to make the music for this, felt very inspired by the artwork from my fellow Sam

Thanks so much for playing and commenting! Sorry you had to pull that gargoyle around the whole time... seems that feature was maybe a bit confusing. You can push them haha!

so stoked to hear this reference - I’m a huge ghibli fan

Aw man, thanks so much for these kind words. Going to check out your game right now.

hmmm this is a good point about the statues - we wanted it to be mysterious but we don’t want players to deliberately avoid them! Thanks for your feedback, really glad you liked game.

Thank you! It was so much fun to create the music for this, I found the visuals really inspiring.

Wow, I really appreciate such thorough feedback. This is awesome.

Thanks! I agree, now that our concept is nailed down, there are a lot more places we could have taken the puzzles if we had had more time!

Thank you! I really liked your game! I played it a bunch this morning.

A really elegant and clever game! I had a slow start but once I figured out how to use the system and make $$ it got really satisfying. I really love the art too. The "zoom in" option might be a little unnecessary haha but I still got a kick out of it.

I loved this one! One of my favourites. Such an interesting art style and concept. I found it really difficult to begin with but once I got the hang of it, it got addicting. I think the addition of the "High Score" counter is a small but crucial thing that kept me coming back. Rated!

Thanks my friend! The art by @BoisterousNatur was really inspiring for me when I made the music, was great to have art to inspire the sound.

This is great feedback, thank you!

Hey, here is ours! It's a puzzle game where your character has a lantern. When it's turned off, a whole new world is revealed. Thanks for playing! https://ahaswell.itch.io/night-keeper

Thank you!

Thanks a lot for this feedback! We created the "golum drift" as an alternative to having a "pull" option, so the player wouldn't get stuck in corners etc. But there's definitely a lot about that we would improve if we had more time!

Thanks my friend! It was really fun to create the music for this. Was going for something calming but also eerie? I'll check out your game!

This is awesome feedback, thanks Kyle

Hey Armed Gorilla, here is our game! It's a puzzle game with a twist based around light! https://ahaswell.itch.io/night-keeper

Really cool interpretation of the theme. Great music!

Us too! We got in 3 minutes and 18 seconds before the deadline. Here's ours! It's a puzzle game that involves a lantern - when the characters lantern is turned off, a whole new world is revealed. Less light: more clues! Created by a team of 4, it was the first game jam for all of us! https://ahaswell.itch.io/night-keeper

Absolutely LOVE the jump mechanism, so satisfying. Difficult game but kept me hooked. Nice job!

Somehow this was really calming to play. The mechanics are really smooth too. Awesome job!

Really beautiful art sidy1 ! I can see this game expanding in really beautiful ways if you keep working on it.
