For the A500 version i had barely 15k for music - definitely not enough for sample captures; for the 1200 have much more space and in fact that has sample captures straight off the megadrive

You should get in touch with retrocommunities and try to create a version for machines like Genesis, SNES or Amiga, possibly changing a bit things
