Fellow dev's, I'd like to offer a playtest exchange. If you play my title, I'll play yours! If you're not a dev, feel free to play regardless!

Health Audit Simulator is a first-Person job simulator with puzzle game twist, where you assume the role of a Health and Safety auditor. Visit dozens of workplaces and flag any and all health hazards you come across. Can you become a 5-star auditor?

You'll find further details and download link over on my itch page: https://ryanmcleod.itch.io/health-audit-simulator-alpha-demo

thank you so much!

technically yes however since Jam has already started valuable time has been lost. Have you already started on your project? If so, add me on discord, Inspectorspacetime599. If not then, best leave it be.

Hi all.

Composer looking for a team for this jam. Results of the last jam I joined:
Game: "Dingleberrys Tiny Domain"
Jam: GameDev.tv Game Jam 2025
Sound: Came 15th out of 1,030.
Music: Came 25th out of 1,030.
https://danko-entertainment.itch.io/dingleberrys-tiny-domain

Was my first gamejam so my position will likely only go up from here!

You'll find my music portfolio at:
https://youtube.com/@ryanmcleodcompositions/playlists

I can also help with deep lore/worldbuilding as that goes hand in hand with music I find.

Hi. I'm needing a player character designed and created. Basically looking for a Eastern European version of Dave Bautista.
Bald, Short beard, muscular, tattoos over neck and arms. He's wearing a black hoodie (hood down) with the sleeves ripped off near the shoulders, and dark blue jeans with combat boots. Think "Gears of War Gruffness".

Realistic skin textures. I'm fine it you use metahuman to achieve, this as long as you get "the look" correct.

Also need it rigged. I have animations waiting. Happy to share if it helps the rigging process.

Please send links to portfolio, along with your discord, and estimated price for your services.

I'm working on a RPG/VN based on wrestling, the behind the scenes industry rather than in-ring stuff. (Think Person 5 rather than WWE 2K25)

I'm looking for one or two pixel and/anime-style artists interested in bringing this character-driven RPG to life. This is a hobby/passion project only at this point, possible rev share if the final product is Steam-worthy.

I'm a writer and composer, and I'll be handling story and music. I can also do programming if we use RPG maker. Will look for a programmer if we decide to use another engine.

Game Outline:

You play a young wrestler breaking into a small-time promotion, climbing the ranks over decades. The game's heart is backstage, not the ring - it's about relationships, choices, trust, and the emotional cost of chasing greatness. No combat system - this is a drama built on promo choices, character arcs, and evolving kayfabe.

Gameplay Rotation:

Weekly Cycle: Backstage exploration (side-scrolling), in-ring performances (visual novel), and quiet home life moments.

Big Events & Olympus: Every 4th week brings a big event-show. "Olympus" is your annual proving ground - by the end of the game, you're its legend.

Your Choices Matter: Respect the plan or go off-script. Build trust or break it. The way you handle fame and failure shapes your legacy.

Art Direction:

Pixel-based, but ideally with layered, stylized depth like Octopath Traveler

Strong anime influence in character closeups

Side-scrolling for backstage sequences, and VN-style portraits for dialogue

Hi. We’ve assembled a small team to casually collaborate on 3D games in the fantasy/horror genres, utilising Unreal Engine 5.

Our first game is a small 1v1 asymmetrical horror deathmatch between a human and a (mostly) invisible demon.
We're looking for character artist with rigging and animation experience to bring these two foes to reality!

This game is our first small endeavour of many, with future game ideas including:
- A First-Person horror puzzler, with a MUD/Text-Adventure spin.
- A Silent Hill 4 inspired, 3rd person tank-controlled, horror puzzler.
- A Dark-Fantasy MM-Faux-RPG.

ABOUT OUR STUDIO-ETHOS:

Above we’ve emphasised working casually, as we all have full-time day jobs, and some have other game projects like GameJams etc. No one is expecting immediate pay, because immediate attention will never be required. No deadlines, save for launch dates (which wouldn't be set till ready anyway, we are beholden to no-one)

Our hope is that if we ship this title, we can use any money generated to fund the next game, and so on, and so on, until we have enough “in the pot” to fund a 2/3 year full-time project. That or our game catalogue be noteworthy enough to attract publishers, whichever may come first. So our ambition is very-long-term, as should your commitment be if you are interested.

When joining our Discord server, we’ll likely spend the next few days just getting to know one another, chatting about games and inspirations etc. We’re looking for work mates, not work colleagues.

So if interested, or just considering, just share your discord so we can DM in the first instance.

Hi. We’re looking for a few final team members to casually collaborate on 3D games in the fantasy/horror genres. We have a few basic ideas in mind, but which we would proceed with first, would be group consensus. Some examples:

  • A First-Person horror puzzler, with a MUD/Text-Adventure spin.
  • A Silent Hill 4 inspired, 3rd person tank-controlled, horror puzzler.
  • A Dark-Fantasy MM-Faux-RPG.

(We also have ideas for smaller games outwith the fantasy/horror realm as “warm up projects” while we establish our workflow and work relationships).

We currently have the following roles already filled:
Programmers (Blueprint), UI/UX Designer, Producers, Game Designers, Sound Design, Composer, Narrative Designer, Marketing/Socials/Community Management.

Currently looking for the following additions to our team:
More of the above (the more the merrier),
Programmers (C++),
Artists,
Animators,
Asset Design/Manipulation,

We’ve emphasised working casually, as we all have full-time day jobs, and some have other game projects like GameJams etc. No one is expecting immediate pay, because immediate attention will never be required. No deadlines, save for launch dates (which wouldn't be set till ready anyway, we are beholden to no-one)

Our hope is that if we release one of the above games, we can use any money generated to fund the next game, and so on, and so on, until we have enough “in the pot” to fund a 2/3 year full-time project. That or our catalogue be noteworthy enough to attract publishers, whichever may come first. So our ambition is very-long-term, as should your commitment be if you are interested.

When joining our Discord server, we’ll likely spend the next few weeks just getting to know one another, chatting about games and inspirations etc, while we wait for the team to bulk out in full (and a wee bit of time after to get to know the later comers). We’re looking for work mates, not work colleagues.

Even if you are not 100% sold on joining up this initiative yet, theres nothing wrong with joining our discord for now, let us know your considering taking X-role, and just hangout for a while till you decide if the group thats assembling is for you or not.

So if interested, or just considering, just share your discord so we can invite.

I'm a SFX and Composer if you are looking still? Music Portfolio: https://www.youtube.com/@ryanmcleodcompositions/playlists
Happy to contribute to playtesting and I also dabble in Narrative writing also.

Looking for a team to join for the jam. You'll find my music work at: https://www.youtube.com/@ryanmcleodcompositions/playlists sorted by playlists depending on the genre.
I've recently branches into narrative, as worldbuilding goes hand in hand with composing I've found.

Hey everyone! I’m offering FREE composition services to build my portfolio. If you're developing a game and need custom music, I’d love to collaborate.

Ideally I’d like to join a small team and contribute towards narrative efforts as well as sound direction. I’m building a large sample library so can also help with sfx. Looking to find my “home” so to speak.

(If you’re a solo dev or just wanting music for one project only, don't let the above put you off - you can still drop me a line!)

What I Offer:

  • Genres of Focus –  Fantasy, Horror, Cozy Melodies, Sci-Fi, Synthwave, Ambient/Soundscapes, Metal. I can work beyond these as you’ll hear above.  (Although being transparent, EDM/Hyper-pop isn't my forte.)
  • Love for Retro Vibes –  I have a strong passion for music that captures the PS1/PS2 era, especially survival horror.
  • Highly Collaborative – I’ll work with you to create a soundtrack that fits your vision perfectly.

How We Can Initially Work Together:

  • Early-Production –  If you're in a playable alpha state, I’ll compose level-by-level, or area-by-area etc -  refining as we go.
  • Mid/Late Development – Already deep into your project? Ready to start marketing? Send me a list of what you need, and I’ll get to work.

Terms:

  • Free – This is to build my portfolio ultimately, and so for the time being I work for free.
  • Lifetime License – You can use the music in your game, marketing, trailers, and any future remasters/remakes. Anything you require to ship and market your product basically.
  • I Retain Distribution Rights – The only thing I ask is to be able to share the music beyond the scope of the game itself. For example, on YouTube, my website, and platforms like Spotify.

Want a Sample?

If you’d like me to audition, drop me a comment with your discord or other contact methods!

Great, Discord is my preferred option so I'm glad you suggested it! Add me at: Inspectorspacetime599

Hey Nix. I'm a composer first and foremost, but have been diversifying into Narrative roles as of late. I've been looking to "set up roots" in a wee team for a while. You'll find some of my music work at https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PL4aRe6dTCxdCP_gvg80mtQa5Lc2-mKRuG&si=EDVj_XhN...
I work for free currently.
I know you'll have been looking for composers later but with games with a heavy focus on narrative it cant hurt to have someone like me from the offset, and Narratively I'd really like to contribute to world and lore building.

add me on Discord: inspectorspacetime599.

We can talk more about your ideas etc first!

Hi, thanks for the comment—I appreciate you taking the time to check out my work. I just wanted to clarify a few things for anyone else who might be reading your comment, so there's no misunderstanding about my workflow.

I don’t actually rely on loops or sample packs to build my tracks. Across the 50+ pieces on my portfolio, only one (“Werewolf Ambush”) uses a sample for a transition effect. Everything else is composed by me, programmed in MIDI, and run through VSTs.

Each track takes 2–3 hours on average to compose, tweak, and mix—so there’s easily over 100 hours of original work in the portfolio (hence why songs are only 1-2 minutes long). I bring this up because the idea that I stitched together pre-made or purchased loops might unintentionally misrepresent the time and effort that went into these pieces.

As for quantizing, I apply it where it fits the genre or mood—more rigid in EDM, looser in cinematic or classical-style pieces where expression is important. I usually do quantize piano leads, mostly out of personal habit.

It’s possible I misunderstood your comment—if by “loops” you meant musical repetition, or if “quantizing” referred to dynamics or instrument attack. (With this said, some VSTs require a 1/64 shift early to account for latency. I may have overlooked this in some tracks - particularly strings and brass. Is this what you are referring to in regard to quantizing?)

If I have misunderstood at all, no worries. I just wanted to clarify things, since those terms can be interpreted pretty specifically. And if I interpreted your comments this way, it's possible game devs might too—hence the response.

I’m always open to critique—it helps me improve—but I also appreciate when it comes from a shared understanding of the medium. Thanks again for checking out the work!

Hi All. As you'll hear in my portfolio above, Fantasy is very much my wheelhouse,

I'm a composer primarily, but if there's a strong narrative element, I'm more than happy to contribute towards narrative efforts also, as this ultimately informs the music. You'll find samples from the book I wrote at: Dúthchas: A Scottish Odyssey

Happy to answer any questions you may have, before making a decision to invite me to your team.! Fire away!

Looking to join a team to join who knows they'll put a strong focus on narrative.
I can cater to most styles of music as you'll hear above (and that I focus on fantasy, horror, mystery etc)

Portfolio Samples: https://www.youtube.com/@ryanmcleodcompositions/playlists (I'd recommend the "Upbeat" playlist for this jam)

My name is Ryan and I'm from Edinburgh, Scotland.

My genres of focus are usually Fantasy, Horror, Ambient/Soundscapes, Synthwave and Metal. I'd like to use this jam to expand my repertoire. as you'll see from the "Upbeat" playlist I suggested previously, its not outwith my reach.

I can also provide SFX, and if you are narrative based project, I can serve as writer, having self-published a book in the past: https://www.amazon.co.uk/D%C3%BAthchas-Scottish-Odyssey-Ryan-McLeod/dp/B0CTXMD1Z...

Ideally if you can provide a example of a jam you've worked on in the past as part of your enquiry, as I've not had much luck recently was jams reaching the finish line :(

Looking to offer my services as a composer for free to build my Portfolio. As you'll see above, I can work in many genres, (I've sorted out my samples into playlists for you to filter by genre/vibe) but my genres of focus are Fantasy, Horror, Ambient/Soundscapes. I can take on genres beyond this, but EDM/Hyper-pop are not my forte unfortunately.

What I really have a penchant for stuff that reminds me of PSone/PS2 era of video games (Especially survival horror)

I'm an extremely collaborative individual.

- For those in pre-production, I'd happy write music in tandem with your development. For example if you've only started your first level, I'll do that first levels music, we'll fine tune it until it's exactly how you want it.  Then i'll check back in when you're onto your second level and so on.

- For those further in development, just give me a big ol' list of what your needing and I'll hop to it. Again we'll fine tune until tis exactly what you want.

As mentioned, I'll offer this for free for the time being, with the aim of improving my portfolio/CV. As such the only thing I ask is I retain distribution rights for the music outside of the game. This is mainly so I can host it on my youtube and website to promote my services, but also Spotify etc. In exchange I will grant a lifetime license to use the music not only in the game, but all promotion/marketing - and any future  remasters or remakes. (I think games getting delisted because of expiring music licenses is B.S. and not one of my values)

If you'd like me to "Audition" just give me a brief and I'll put something on my youtube that fits.

The theme hasn't been announced at the time of writing, but you'll find a link to my musical portfolio below, and as you can see I can work in most genres. Regardless of what the theme is likely to be, if you know you'll need music, just let me know?
