Hey there, and thanks for checking out WAVEBEAM!

I've put a lot of effort into working on this game, and have learned a lot about AI coding tools in the process. I know there are a ton of ethical  and environmental concerns about AI tools, and while I agree with all of those concerns, it is undeniable that AI tools are an an irreversible path to becoming ubiquitous within nearly every major industry - which can clearly be seen in today's software and game development industries. My publication of this game should not be misconstrued as any kind of advocacy for AI tools, but rather an example of how they can be properly leveraged to grant a world of capabilities to individuals who would otherwise lack technical efficacy to do accomplish their goals on their own.

I plan on continuing the development of this game - adding new features and making tweaks based on community input - for as long as incoming donations can cover the cost of the AI tools and my time investment. I have a lot of things I'd like to try, and I'll be publishing a roadmap both here and on the discord if folks show enough interest.

Thanks again for checking it out, and please feel free to discuss here or on the discord and let me know what you think!

Sincerely,

Ryan Collins

I'm an experienced Sound Designer actively working in the games industry, and I'm looking to get a couple of Jams under my belt for additional portfolio material. If you need any SFX and Ambiance, please feel free to send me an email at Phayzr@gmail.com

For clarification, I am offering free SFX and Ambiance (NOT music) including implementation if desired.

Hey, I'm Ryan!

I've been working in the games industry for several years doing both QA and Sound Design, and I'm looking to expand my portfolio.

I'm currently searching for projects that are nearing completion and are in need of original, high-quality SFX. While I love being involved during the entire development process, I'm currently juggling several larger projects and need a few immediate short-term ones. (I may consider certain larger scale projects as well, so feel free to reach out about those too!)

If you think you might be interested, you can find my current portfolio and info on my website. Feel free to contact me either here or through the contact form on my site!

Thanks for reading!

Sound Designer here looking for a team!

Never done a jam before, but I'm no stranger to game development or sound design (been doing QA on AAA games for 8+ years and have a formal education in audio).

Check out my website here: www.phayzraudio.com

It seems like a lot of Jams require you to have Twitter... I've made a valiant effort thus far to keep away from Twitter. Is there any other avenue for getting connected to a team for this jam? (Discord? Slack? Facebook? Google?)
