Thanks!

Love the take on the theme! Very polished and accessible, good tutorial. The enemy AI is very easy, and particularly shoots itself in the foot by taking firewalls, but is still a competent proof of concept.  Also, the music/sound effects are great - Good job!

Thanks for playing!

Thanks!

Very charming, and unique use of the theme - good job!

Thanks!

Thank you for playing!

Thanks, I'm glad you like it!

Thanks for playing, the astromancer is my favorite too. The ranger and frost witch are pretty similar with high health (only difference is that the witch deals more damage with a slower projectile). However, when they each get their upgrades they're quite different: the ranger gets a double jump, higher rate of fire, and a double shot, whereas the witch gets more projectile speed and damage, the highest move speed in the game, and a piercing shot.

Thanks for playing, glad to know people are seeing all the content :)

Thanks for playing, I'm glad you agree!

Really well made art, especially the bigger stuff like the end screen and itch background. Enemy variety is nice and the core gameplay feels satisfying. Good job!

Thanks! fun fact: the hit sound is a pillow. Glad you enjoyed the game!

Thanks!

Thanks! I admit the enemy AI can be a bit fiddly to play around, but I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless.

Thanks for playing!

Frankly phenomenal this was made for a jam. It has such fleshed out mechanics and polished art, it feels like a full game (minus the playtime of course, but that's more than excusable for a jam). Overall, an amazing feat for the jam window; my congratulations to the devs. Looking forward to seeing what you guys do in the future!

Very fun, the art is good and the core concept fits the theme well. My only complaint is the lack of invincibility frames: it makes going from full health to dead far too easy, and makes hits you take early on mean nothing, as when you get hit later you'll be getting hit multiple times at once anyways. Still, a very solid entry, with addictive moment to moment play. Great job!

Thanks, glad you liked it!

I'm glad you liked it! If I ever do a post-jam follow up I'll definitely rework it a bit, agreed that the strategic potential is there. Thanks for playing!

There is no healing, but you keep your upgrades when you die! Both are intentional, but I'll keep in mind balancing the difficulty of things like healing for future projects. Thanks for playing!

Thanks for playing, and for the feedback. Good luck to you as well!

Incredibly unique from theming, to core mechanics, to art. The jam theme seemed a little forced in at first, but the mechanic works so well I'm giving it a pass. quite fun!

This has a lot of potential, the core of working around the chain is a fun concept, executed well. I'd probably play a post jam version!

I like the music, even if it wasn't jam made it fits the game well. The controls were still fine normally, but I would have preferred WASD and arrow keys. I like the effects, destroying asteroids feels nice. Even if lacking a bit in core gameplay, still fun. Good job!

Thanks for playing! If I make a post jam version I'll be sure to patch the controls, I noticed it in my testing but couldn't figure out what caused it in time.

Thanks, really!

I hadn't thought of that but yeah, you could add different mace modifiers and effects, that would be cool.

Thanks, and likewise!

A lot more complex then I was expecting, but that's definitely a good thing.  The colors are nice to look at, and the concepts are introduced well. Very good!

Nice and juicy, on top of solid core gameplay. I can't say much about the presentation, but this is one of the most fun games I've played so far. With some more polish and content, I'd play a full version. Good job!

Well polished! The music is nice, and the graphics feel simple without being too bland. The gameplay could use a bit more depth, but the core mechanic on it's own is pretty fun to play with. Impressive!

A bit hard to understand at first, but some fun puzzles later on. Pretty good
