Afraid the YouTube link doesn't seem to work for me?

Thank you.  its a harmonica, I used a sample pack in Decent Sampler (I think it's one of the free ones you can download from within the VST, but I could be wrong).  I wimped out of recording the harmonica myself lol.

I love the lead synth melody.  I never noticed any issues with the transitions either.  It's perhaps a little too energetic for Animal Crossing, but as a track I love it

I absolutely love this.  It feels too energetic for Animal Crossing, but I still love it.  It feels like Dillinger Escape Plan decided to make a happy jazz song.

Love this, the call and response lead parts just like the game, the cute rhythms, the "vocals".  It annoys me that you made this in only 5 hours lol.

If you told me this was on the original soundtrack I'd believe you.

Loving the instruments, it reminds me a lot of the Two Point management games with the glass mallet sound.  All the sounds work really well together too.

I love the light vibes here, feels like I'm sitting watching the stars on a warm night.

definitely fits the atmosphere of being nice and chilled while being quite a different style to what's used in the games

So happy someone went for the vocals too!  Love it

Overall I like the idea (also I love Waveform as a free DAW, it's what I started out with), but some of the chords felt out of key somehow.  You mention it being more relaxing, one thing you could do is "humanise" the MIDI chords by separating the notes a little so they don't all hit at the same time, it sounds more natural that way and less harsh.

Thank you, I loved that game too!  I'll have to re-listen to the soundtrack for it now

Oh yeah this fits so well, and really cool that you've paid attention to the day and night cycle

This sounds really good, especially for someone so new to music, thank you for sharing your detailed breakdown on Miro.  love all the sounds you used and the composition.

Even though it's different to the style used in the game, I feel like lo-fi jazz like this wouldn't be a bad fit, and it's really well made.  Great work.

If you're struggling, there's a few ways you can use samples in FL.  Drag and drop them straight into the playlist (easiest with drums) or into the plugin/sample rack where you can then use them with the piano roll.

I assume there is no theme for this jam?  Can just make any music we choose as long as its with ChipTone for the samples?

I love the atmosphere and the N64 feeling this creates, thing you've got that down to a T!

Really like the composition overall, and could mostly see it as part of the soundtrack, but felt there was something off with the mixing, some parts were quite hard to hear while others were quite loud.

Overall I love this, mostly sound just like it would be in place in the game apart from the section Aurélien mentioned.

Really enjoyed this, definitely feels like it fits the era of game and mood of the level as a whole.  Good work!

I really like the melodies you've got going on here as well as the overall vibe.  I'm struggling to hear it as others as mentioned, maybe your video recording software is reducing the volume (I have this issue with OBS sometimes) as its slightly better on the .wav?
