Review:

- Gameplay: I'd say that the gameplay is quite intense, with obstacles requiring good reaction times.

- Theme/Topic: The game does fit into the theme quite well and I like how you represented your culture but it has not much resemblance to the topic. I do see the "you don't die" feature after the character dies once but it doesn't really seem to change the gameplay much.

- Innovation: The game does feature some nice gameplay but I've seen many games of the same kind. So, There is definitely place for improvement in innovation here.

- Graphics: The graphics are pretty good, I really like the simple artstyle as it matches with the style of the game.

- Music/Sfx: I would say there is some space for improvement in music, I think that the game deserves a way more intense polish music than the calm one since it doesn't really fit with the gameplay.

- PolishThe polishing is pretty well done (no pun intended). I like the start menu screen + the "your culture jam" splash which makes it look good. I like the transition after clicking the play button and the little animations that play with crashing yourself on the wall.

TL;DR: Good game but there is space for improvement

also I got 72 points at max :)

Review:

  1. I am a big fan of the overall gameplay. The controls are snappy and quick to move, and I really like the idea of switching walls. It adds a new kind of dimension in this game.
  2. The game does slightly fit the theme considering it's based on the persian culture, but it doesn't really match with the topic that well.
  3. This game is very innovative in terms of gameplay. As I said in the first point, I really like this "parkour" style of platforming so that gets a 4 star rating out of me.
  4. The graphics are the best from any game I've seen in this jam so far, especially the lighting.
  5. Unfortunately there wasn't much music/sfx, I'd recommend adding that.
  6. I would give the polish criteria 5 stars if a restarting feature was implemented, so it's 2 stars.

Also my highest score was 103 :)

Good job with what you did, and good luck!

Ok, here's are the points:

  1. Increase the player's jump distance because it's ridiculous how small the distance is the player covers while jumping.
  2. The parallax background is nice but make sure to improve the artstyle.
  3. sometimes the procedural generation generates comically spacious areas where jumping through them is totally ridiculous.

if you worked with lesser time and submitted late, I understand. but next time make sure to make a better game with the advice I gave you.

not bad.

i like all the enemy types and how hordes of them approach the player BUT

I would recommend increasing the enemy bullet's damage and reducing the player's health because this game seems too easy p.s the movement of the enemies seems a bit buggy as well.

The game is pretty good and innovative but, I'd strongly recommend reducing the dash cooldown (or that may be a bug) and fixing the thumbnail of your game so more people could come and play it.

and whenever i try to dash outside planets, my player gets into the star and kills itself for no reason. i see what you wanted with the gameplay but i'd recommend improving it.

In the beginning, i was a bit confused with the gameplay but it turns out that this is a two-player game where the second player has to kill the chicken while the first player controls the chicken so it can reach the goal of putting 100 eggs in the basket.

The gameplay is innovative and the art is nice, though for the polish i'd recommend reducing the lifetime of turrets and increasing cooldown for all weapons. as for the chicken, it is fine but i'd recommend reducing the amount of eggs required to win the game.

yes

nice! I really like the artstyle!
