Spectranext and DIVMMC Enjoy Interfaces on Spectrum +3 - I've tried Bloodstone on the +3 using both of the above devices, and both display the same behaviour - the game loads, it does the lovely screen switch to the Bloodstone picture where the knight is stood outside the castle, but then it locks up.

Just thought you should know.

I’m on a KS1 Next and played this for the first time last night. I’ll have to check the arcade mode again, but I can confirm there’s no score shown in maniac mode yet you do have a score at the end.

I’m really impressed with the game, but I do agree with Next Magazine that it needs some beefier sound effects.

Thank you for creating this.

Impressive! I love it.

Thank you for creating v1.4. The ability to accidentally move up left or up right on the joystick but still having your player move is a game changer!

I still feel it needs the text “Press R to redefine keys” (or something similar) on the title screen.

Great work!

I had the same issue last night of the game failing to accept input on redefine keys screen.

Your double jump fix suggestion is a good one., It is a pain.

A stunning, enjoyable and tricky game with that one more go factor.

Some feedback for the joystick control. If you accidentally move the joystick diagonally, your character stops moving.  I found it quite easy to do and ended up getting hit because my player stopped moving. Is it possible to tweak that so the player continues to move if a diagonal is used?

Also, it may be worth displaying “Press R to Redefine Keys” on the title screen as there’s no indication you can do that.

Thank you for all your hard work and for supporting our beloved Spectrum!

I've been using version 1.1 for ages, and just got around to updating to 3.1, Wow! It's certainly come on leaps and bounds!

Do you have plans to be able to implement functionality to be able to read / write from / to Greaseweazle drives?

(1 edit)

Are you planning to release a new version of this? I ask as the current version generates a "Malware Blocked and Moved to Bin" error.

It's a fantastic program. I do hope you find the time to fix it.

Scratch that. Version 3 works! :)

Not quite my daily driver, but when I go to Amiga events I take my 2008 white MacBook with me that's running Linux Mint. It's useful for downloading Amiga disk images onto and then transferring them over to the Amiga. I do occasionally use it for daily tasks if I don't want to sit at my desk. It's not speedy, but gets the job done.

Thank you for continuing to update this program. I've found it so useful!

Once it comes up with that error, go to System Settings -> Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the Security section at the bottom and there should be an option to load the program regardless.

Many thanks for supporting the Amiga with this brilliant creation.

The graphics are excellent, and I think a really nice touch is that the enemies move (jitter) around on the spot. I know it's only a simple effect, but it really brings them to life and yet is in keeping with the graphics style.

I also love the animated intro. Very nicely done indeed!

When installing the game I mounted the images on my A1200 50mhz 30 with Go ADF. It was amazing to watch the installation process. Each disk was installed almost instantly!

If you produce a follow-up can I suggest some walking sounds? I think it would really add to the game.

Right, I'm off to play this some more. I bought this in the week and haven't had much chance to give this a good play.

No doubt I'll have some more feedback once I've had chance to get stuck in.

Thanks again for supporting the Amiga.

A beautiful game. The Count Down mode is a swine but loads of fun.

Would it be possible to create a score board you could save? I ask as it would really add something to the game modes if you could do that.

I’ve given this a plug on the SWAG Facebook group so hopefully you should see a few more sales come you way.

Thanks for supporting the Amiga.
