Thanks!

So I know this is sorta irrelevant, but I was just wondering, on Steam, can I buy a VX Ace DLC without having VX Ace?

- Brent

I am not saying that the game is bad, I am just saying that I was worried that the judges cannot test the game.

Ah. I see. He could problably make a PowerPoint wrapper using something like WinForms. It's not really a Windows executable in it's current state, but I could mock one up for the dev.

- Brent

Edit: I need to have PowerPoint, which costs money, to convert it, unless if I rewrite the entire program. Great job Microsoft...

Examples of this are Nativefier, NW.js, Electron, etc, or you could make your own using VB.NET or C# and WinForms.

Which would need some more knowledge, but I'm sure you could mock up a PowerPoint to EXE converter using VB.NET or C# and WinForms.

I am sorry to say, but PowerPoint games are not considered actual games. Not only that, but you are trying to publish a game to Steam made with PowerPoint. I am not trying to discourage you, but you are in bad luck in this type of jam. It's like sending a game made with OWL. Also, this is not technically a Windows application, so the judges might not be able to test the game.

- Brent

EDIT: The judges gave you a chance! Good luck! :D

Can we use p5.js?

- Brent

1. I don't think so. I mean, people all around the world do this jam.

2. No, they have magic to check. XD (not really, they look at the file dates)

- Brent

I have no idea. Guess we have to wait for Nick to respond.

- Brent

Yes, ideas are not restricted, it is mainly assets.

- Brent

Don't worry, your fine. ;)

You have 4 weeks when you come back.

- Brent

You can use something like Electron, Nativefier, or NW.js.

R rated is pretty much fine. It is mainly just the... Porn and nudity. Yea... X rated stuff.

- Brent

Yes, they will work.

You can create any game you want, as long as the actual assets are made within the jam, unless if they are public.

- Brent

I think so... We are using Tomoaky's plugins.

- Brent

Thanks! ;)

I am thinking about making a platformer game with RPG Maker MV with my friend Trevor. (there is a plugin for everything nowadays XD) But since the time limit for the game is one hour, can we make a demo version for the judges, followed up by the full version? Thanks! ;)

- Brent

PS: Can the full version be paid if so?

One other thing, I would recommend changing some of the RPG Maker RTP rather than using the default assets. I know it is time consuming, but your game would stand out better. Some examples are sprites, tilesets, window skins, titles, etc. But don't feel bad for using some default assets. You should just try to make your game stand out. ;)

- Brent

I have no idea, but I do not recommend it. The judges might not have a VR set to test your game. If your VR game is not for Windows, it is not allowed (I think there is one for web, sorry for info, only use Google Cardboard XD) I recommend you use Windows.

- Brent

I understand. Thanks!

This is incredible, and beautiful! This is what I am looking for! You see, I am kinda bad at making world maps, because when I sketch out something like this, it is always smaller than I expect. Even worse, making rivers and islands is torture for me. I am making a game similar to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Thanks! ;)

- Brent

Nice! Might use in my latest project, if the VXAce icons I am using do not work out.

- Brent

Oh, sorry, thanks for the feedback! :D

- Brent

Oh. I thought that I could upload even if it was not made in this jam. I know I could not upload it if it was from another jam. I'll double check.

- Brent

Thanks! ;) Might fix that in another update.

- Brent

Thanks! ;)

I love it! It is very satisfying and addictive to give the other ball a big punch! There is only one thing I would change though, and it is the title screen. It has bad lighting, and the camera is a bit tilted. But that is only one problem. I'm surprised that this is cancelled, because this is amazing! I can probably continue it if you want. Overall, awesome game!

- Brent

I can design if it is very simple, like a very detailed circle, or if it is very low resolution, or pixel art. Otherwise, cannot do. Sorry, or thanks!

- Brent

Thanks! ;)

- Brent

Thanks! ;D

Do you have any side view sprites here? And I heard you make tile sets. If you do, where are they, and if not, what would blend with this pack?

I know this is irrelevant, but you can run MV on Ubuntu now?

- Brent

Thanks for the feedback! I hope you enjoyed it!

- Brent

I see now. Nice job!

- Brent

Good game, but there are major 2 problems. The game ends too quickly, and it is not related to time travel. Good luck at the jam! ;)

- Brent

I love the game! One thing I would say is to go farther with the branding. (changing Game Over picture, changing Loading picture, changing font, replacing window skin)

- Brent

It is kinda hard when you are working with Unity, if you get this error, this forum post could help you: https://answers.unity.com/questions/1323731/unable-to-list-target-platforms-plea...

Thanks for the feedback! I noticed that. I might have forgotten to turn something off in the platform movement category. I'll fix that soon. Good luck at the jam! ;)
