Hey there!

Fair warning, this is a passion project I'm wanting to work on. It's not for a game-jam and it's not for money. If it ever gets to the point where money will be made off of it, you can bet that anyone who took part will be paid for it. Until then this is all for practice, fun, and to make a story!

Who I am

I'm Retro. I'm a middling artist, I can (sort of?) play bass guitar and I have some basic experience in level design and code that I've picked up from school, college,  trial and error or just osmosis.
First and foremost though, I'm a writer.  I write campaigns for TTRPGs, I write short stories, and I'm going to college for a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts.

Now... I've got a project idea for an RPG and the basis for a futuristic world written out. I'm looking for a lot of different people with the skills to help me put this plan into action!

Who I'm looking for-

  • 2D artists - People with skills in pixelated, realistic or abstract styles are all welcome! (Futuristic-Modern setting, Cybernetics involved)
  • Programmers - People with experience with GDScript, C, C#, or C++! (Platform will be Godot)
  • Musicians/Sound Artists - If you've got experience with background music or sound effects, come on down! (Thinking we'll go for something jazzy. Workshopping  on that still!)
  • Level Designers - If you've got experience in designing levels, environmental storytelling, pacing, and secrets, post a comment! (It would be preferred if you also had experience with Godot and any relevant languages so it'll be easier to work with the programmers)
  • Writers - If you've got experience in writing for modern or futuristic settings, you're welcome here!

If you're interested, drop a comment on this post with your discord handle and I'll get back to you ASAP.
Thanks! <3

Yeah, the browser build was our biggest hurdle from what I heard from the coders. Everytime they got it working on one browser, the newest build messed up on another. One step forward two steps back type of deal. :(

I wanted so badly for us to keep our voiced placeholder sound effects. Listening to our lead coder make car noises was the funniest thing ever to me.

Wanton destruction is always fun in a video game. This game is no exception :)

Been a while since I've seen a card game I actually enjoy. With refining, this could make for a great full fledged game!

so like, if I enlisted the help of the entire state of Texas, INCLUDING Bonzo the Clown from down the street, nobody could stop me?
