I understand the situation. I’ll keep plugging away at Wild Harmonies regardless. My previous comment was simply a suggestion since the VN is a constant work in progress right now and help is nice. I hope you continue to enjoy the story regardless!

Well, if you'd like to see more art in the game, you can always go and support my patreon or throw me a donation on Ko-Fi! Having more funds to work with will allow me to commission my artists more consistently! This project has been a labor of love, and as of now has been almost completely funded by my own pocketbook, so any help I can get is appreciated!

That’s a financial issue on my end unfortunately. I’d love to have CGs for the sex scenes, but I don’t have the money to get those yet. It’s one of many things I intend to add later. Getting art commissioned is a slow and expensive process.

The MC's new design is certainly a big change! For what it's worth, none of the sprites have emotions or outfits yet, and they will be getting more as time goes on. Perhaps that'll help with some of the scrappy look you're describing? As for hairstyle, the original prototype had a shaved side, which might have translated a little differently. The prototypes were gifted to me for free, so I didn't really have much input on what they looked like at the time, and this version is closer to my vision of who the MC is.
I hope you stick around to see what things are to come, even if they're not exactly what you had in your head!

Thanks! Retro did a great job with them. They’re not all in as of posting the new screenshots, but Trax will be in the update at the end of the week, and the MC will be in December’s update!

I can neither confirm nor deny the cuteness of the werewolf pack. (They are pretty damn cute though).

Yeah, if you actively pursue both of them it’s planned to be a different route than if you’re only romantically involved with one of them. The character for the 6th route is in the game already… whether you’ve met them or not though I can’t say because technically you don’t have to.

The 5th is Aelfric + Balto, but isn’t planned to actually start until day 11. The 6th is a secret ;)

Oh, the art is commissioned! RetroHurricane is the artist of the official sprites (he’s very good at what he does). The writing’s all me though and the music will eventually hopefully be mostly mine as well, with a few commissioned tracks. I’m sure Retro would be happy to hear your compliments!

I’m glad you’ve enjoyed it up to this point! I can assure you the visuals and audio bits are only going to continue to improve as time goes on. Trax’s sprite is about half complete and I’m looking into getting official background arts done soon as well!

I’m in a few discord groups where I advertise. There’s a limit on what can be done there though just because discord doesn’t really host files. Thanks for the thought though!

Appreciate the thoughts! I definitely plan on adding more music; Just takes a while to get it written and sounding nice. Also plan on finding other sound effects in the future.

Fun fact: the route split doesn’t actually happen until day 4! 

I admit, the pacing is a little quick at the beginning, but the breadth of options across the first 3 days is part of what makes that happen. I’ll blame my lack of writing experience at the time, haha! If you experiment around making different choices you’ll see that there’s actually a lot of variation. And you don’t necessarily have to end up with the person you pick day 1.

I will add, there’s a reason that I wrote it the way I did initially, and that was to set up for a route idea I’ve been waffling back and forth on. Regardless, thanks for the constructive criticism. I always appreciate hearing thoughts on the project!

Yeah, it got worse after I posted this originally. I’m forming backup plans for having things in other locations, but I don’t have anything set up quite yet. In the meantime, at least the game still exists!

For the people at the root of this, it's about policing what people can and can't do on the internet. It's not right, but I'm not taking it laying down either.

Really the first two points are the biggest things. Otherwise, simply sharing the work with people you think would enjoy it is more than enough.

Balto and Aelfric are together. Their relationship is open as of the start of the story. The other two have a strictly familial relationships with the other pack members 

Yes! The choices do matter. For example, being human gives certain options with certain characters, and being a werewolf has some of its own issues if you explore the many options over the first several days. Some of the choices have subtle differences, others are more distinct.

Additionally, each job (there are 9) and dating route (there are 6 planned) will also have unique impacts on the climax of the story. Lots of stuff is planned out and the choices, though they won’t affect the main course of the story, will affect how it plays out and what details you see.

It was Balto and Aelfric together, and it was kind of impromptu. More to come in future updates, but the gist is that they kind of just adopted the other two and the pack formed that way.

They’re a wolf pack, so they’re more like a family than friends.
 Of the four, Aelfric and Balto are lovers. Trax and Drellis are not involved in any romantic/sexual relationships as of the start of the story.

Things will work out. It’s not as if I won’t have time to keep developing if I lose my job. It’ll just make things harder from a financial standpoint. I appreciate the well wishes though!

I'd like to amend my previous statement. What was supposed to be the "Skip" button wasn't toggling the correct thing, so it wasn't actually working how it should've. It will be fixed in the next build, but in the mean time, I'm sorry that it's not working right!

The buttons should be in the top right corner of your screen now. If they’re not, that’s a bug because I attempted to update the UI for all devices, and renpy builds the UI differently for smaller screens.

I, unfortunately, don’t have an android device, so best I can do is emulation, and that doesn’t always catch all the bugs.

I’m fine! I had mental health issues before I started on this, and no doubt they’ll continue to exist after. It’s mostly just something that slows me down. 

Thanks for reporting that! I tried my best to catch them all, but there’s so much that some were bound to get through. 

I'm glad you liked it! It's definitely still a work in progress, but I'm hoping to keep updating the story while I build up the funds to get non-prototype stuff into it. I don't know how often there'll be  updates because I have a full time job, but here's hoping that there's one every couple months.
